Got a video of grille Plate Removal in just a few minutes after removing top grille fascia bolts & fasteners. Bumper need not be taken off. Ratchet ,socket, screw driver & scratch protective rags are all you need.
Sadly, this dinosaur tried linking to no avail. Haha. It's in a photobucket acct. Any ideas how? Thanks.

Regarding Fuels, what are you using? I always prefer Shell. I gas up Fuelsave Unleaded for the first year on M3 SkyActiv. Eversince Petron has released Euro4, switched to Super Xtra (91 Octane). We are aware of Mazda Dealers' recommendations of avoiding petron but I'm thinking this is more of a marketing one. I think euro4 will be better but are there valid claims of Petron's Additive affecting the Engine?

As long as it meets the minimum octane rating any brand is fine. I think they (Mazda Ph/Berjaya) favors Shell because it has a tie-up with them. When my Mz2 was released and when I had my 1000km PMS they put in fresh Shell paper floormats. I also saw their technicians wearing Shell shirts and eyed their oils (Mazda North EDSA has an open service area) all Shell-branded. Anyway, I use Shell exclusively, not for any technical reasons (I have colleagues in the oil industry so I know they are all the same), but for the SM Advantage points and my Shell credit card offers rebates. I'll equally patronize Petron/Caltex/Seaoil if they offer rebates too.

Apologies, vinrem sir, misread post...I was way off...not sure if it's the premature failing eyesight or the Alzheimer's kicking in...haha.

I was talking to myself about this...
This Niche Nessen M147 18x8 high offset *$190 from Discount Wheel should be the proper 1 shown in those pix.
Niche Wheels M147-Essen 18x8 Matte Black High Offset

Niche should have local dealers, but prices maybe way off.

Mazda is not singling out any fuel brand nor type. They are simply recommending the petrol that consistently passed the various tests for the PH Sky variants & their respective stock tunes. Remember, our Sky engines are not your regular combustion 1s. Performance & efficiency seldom go together....Hi-comp, hi fuel pressure, direct injection running on regular unleaded w/o pinging has been unheard of til this.
The other side of the coin might show us that the marketing ploy/endorsement everyone suspects is actually a product of Mazda caring about preventing random fuel issues. Our pain is their headache, too. No one wants any of that.
We'll see no gains going against recommendation. Why risk giving Yojin reason to avoid you should fuel related issues pop?
Wisdom will point to sticking w/ the factory specified petrol: Shell Fuel Save.

I'm in no way affiliated w/ Shell nor Mazda...just a regular happy Mown3r here sharing worthless 2cents.

    Hi Guys!

I'm wondering if the free OEM matting really doesn't have the middle part. Do yours come with the middle matting in the rear?

    Here's a good guide for bolt size/grade/torque:

At least Grade 8 (or 12.9 in metric) for high-clamping load applications, such as connecting rods, cylinder heads and main caps, flywheel bolts, clutch cover bolts, etc. No threaded fastener below Grade 5 (or 8.8 metric) for any automotive application, regardless of the area of use. Always follow the vehicle or aftermarket component maker’s recommendation for torque specs.
