I will not advise for the 3M tints na libre. Sabihin mo nalang eh palit nalang sa ibang item like free full tank gas. Then have it tinted with Huper Optik o V-Kool for better heat rejection. Mababa din kasi heat rejection ng 3M. Solargard tint is ok also, basta wag lang 3M.
Oh! Di ko alam na pretinted yung car. Di ko siguro napansin when I test drove one. Umaga kasi.
Though, Sir how much po yung Huper Optik or V-Kool?
Go for K series pataas. Yun top of the line nilang tints na X at VK series ang mahal. Alam ko wrap around nung higher variants is nasa 20k+.
Well if you can get those locally and on time then great!
BTW the Motolite battery for the 2.0 is not sold outside the casa, so, no the Motolite motorcycle delivery service cannot deliver it to you when your car dies on the road. And when was the last time you used a Motolite battery and what was it? Motolite has a lot of batteries to suit ones budget.
Excel & Gold...they all seem to be built like NIKEs w/ programmed expiry. I won't get into my misadventures for having stuck loyal to that brand for the longest time.
Motolite delivery will be futile anyway unless one can perform the batt swap using Mike D'Antoni's 7sec or less offense. Haha....Removal of negative cable beyond those precious seconds will require the iStop learning procedure anyway...This renders the 2.0 dealership dependent even w/ simple chores like batt change. Tsk tsk tsk.
Have had EXIDEs last at least twice Motolite warranty on local soil, climate & abuse....Batt industry standards here have really sunk.
I've seen Optimas around at more than double US prices around but they're still well w/in the Q85 range.
Oh well, just glad you & I won't need these no-hobos, Yatta sir.![]()
Well thats what businesses do. Planned obsolesence and products are built to last only after a certain time. My iPhone4 still works, but Apple made it obsolete by stopping updates. Otherwise companies would go out of business for lack of people buying new products and preferring to stick with their old ones. Even Mazda though confident with their Yojin3 knows eventually after that their cars will start needing major servicing.
Yeah, the biz world has embraced the most basic of animal survival instincts.
Gone are those who build their mark on quality....Companies like K-Swiss relied on market niche in athletics, comfort & durability rather than advertising......now, they're just one of em sneakers...All good ones gone.
Well, at least w/ the 1.5 hobos, Mazda has kept it simple. Still pretty DIYable. Post-Yojin will see casa visits turn backyard wrenching.![]()
Just had my hb tinted earlier with vkool OEMs!
I'm super amazed at how great this car is! It drives like a dream!!! And the sound system... Superb sound quality from the stock speakers, unbelievable!
I wonder why people still go for the mainstream products when a car like this is already available and equally affordable.

Appreciate all your helpful inputs, kind sirs! I've decided to stick with the 1.5. Now I need to find 18 inch wheels! Black or gun metal preferred without dropping the car. Any suggestions? Hopefully yung readily/locally available. Also, is it difficult to change the stock halogens? Planning to replace them with diamond visions/night breakers. Thanks!!

Marami available sir na 18 rims in black or gunmetal. It also depends on your budget. Pwede ka kay autoplus if you want the branded ones like rays/work (80-150k). You can also go to banawe/blumentritt/evangelista to get replicas. 18s would cost you between 28-35k. Rota lightweight naman around 40k. I personally like rota ts6 or pwr-fa in satin/matte black finish.
Regarding bulb replacements, you can DIY at hindi mahirap. May instruction naman sa manual on how to properly replace bulbs. HL and Fogs use H11 bulbs btw. I am using Diamond Vision sa projector halogens at NBU naman sa fogs. Baka mahirapan ka nga lang humanap ng DV kase it was bought in US pa.
Thank you again, sir Geo_S!
Unfortunately 80-150k for rims alone is waaaay out of budget for a hobo like me. I'm really liking those Rota's you've mentioned, I'll try and look around in evangelista as I'm near that place. Pardon my ignorance, but what specs should I look for in rims? All I know from back reading is the tire size which should be 225/45/r18 if I'm not mistaken.
As for the bulbs, I've already ordered diamond vision from amazon. The rest I'll source locally.![]()
OEM rims, you want?
Tsaka once you got the car, basahin mo nalang yun manual kung paano magpalit nito.
Hmmmmmmm, I think I can update my firmware from v51 to v55 now. May nabasa akong instructions sa net and currently downloading the firmware. Yun nga lang, I don't have my Mz3 with me dahil nakay Brader Jojo...
Yes and if I am not mistaken Rotas are also used as stock OEM rims by some manufacturers. Yung Isuzu namin Rotas yung nakalagay and my Japanese friend's Accord had Rotas as stock rims.
