Alright then, I should have Sir Trav's plate relocator immediately!

Grats for making the best decision in your life. To numb the agony of waiting, share us what mods you've checked from page 346....and if you're relocating your front plate, please tell your SA not to drill you holes on that grille.

Thank you sir travajante for the advise. i have been lurking in this forum since the day i had interest in mz3

Keep your distance from the car in front of you during slow traffic. Just enough space to block another car from entering your lane. You will improve your fc.

StockEngine is correct, also, when you see the stoplight ahead already turned red, go easy on the accelerator

Thanks for the advice mga sirs. The mod bug has been itching even though i don't have the unit yet haha. I have a question for sir travs or others who have aftermarket wheels, do you go through pms with those aftermarket wheels? Have you tried it before? What did they tell you concerning the warranty?

I saw a mazda 3 HB 2.0 with black rims earlier. At least 19 inches maybe even 20 inches. Looked nicr but the clearance was almost negligible. There is no way you can take humps or corners at normal speed without those wheels eating into the metalwork.

The official & safe answer to this question is keep everything stock when visiting dealerships.
I will take the 5th on this.

+1 here. As what bro Travs said, their ignorance is our bliss. But to be safe than sorry, better keep it in stock when visiting for PMS.

In stance & fitment, every mm counts. The M3's proportional limit, IMHO, are 19s w/ the right width, offset & tire size. The 300hp Mazdaspeed3 may likely get 19s.
Staying closest or equal to stock outer diameter should retain stock drivability, handling & cornering w/o the worries you mentioned. Comfort will be sacrificed when going lower profile tires, as tire walls will be shorter & stiffer. I'm on 19s & have no issues w/ cornering at drivable speeds. I never dare challenge humps or ramps in any car I drive...coupe, sedan, or SUV. I've utmost respect for them.
Going 20s, however will turn the 3 looking like a crossover.... If that's your way of appreciating our cars, then go twennies.

Beware....that itch, if not scratched, will cause delirium, insanity, acquired autism & manic depression. It's highly advised you seek the GeoManc3r to introduce you to the ModFath3r!!!!!

Went to the dealership today to demo & relocate their top honcho's M3's front LTO plate....
The techs were sooooo glad & rejoiced this has been made available. They need not remove bumpers nor drill holes to just install those plates anymore!!!!
Apparently, this was a tedious task not only owners, but they sooo very hate, too!!!! All took less than 5minutes w/ the relocation.....
Common comment they made wasn't just about it looking miles better but also seeming so OE, one would think twas originally intended to be there.
Grateful for the mod shared to be embraced warmly. This one's for you, Mown3rs!!! Humble thanks!!!!🙏

Saw a black MX5 ND in the dealership during the plate relocation demo....Jaw-dropping. I was floored!
And a bland white M2 hatch....
I've got just the perfect corresponding proper sized rims in mind for those two ....they're aching to be replaced. Hehe.

Oh, if anyone's getting an M2, the white doesn't seem to bring out the stunner it really is. Hmmmm, unexpected.

I really envy you guys there in the Philippines bcoz you can have your plates relocated, unlike us here in the middle kingdom that once we relocate our plate means having others to see that ugly grill with our built in plate holder, like this one for example 😩

42 front and 45 ka rear correct?
42 has the slightest poke w/8.5" out front, but doesn't rub anything.
Rears have to stay 45 up as suspension travel is a tad more out back. Safest is 45up all around.
Oh, I've beefy 245/35s all around. GeoManc3r's great find of 225/40 & a lil stretch will help reduce rub risk should you go slightly lower than et45.

Damn, sayang. Stock height though? You think no problem? Front and back at 42? Eyeing 225/40r18 tires, baka its too streched if i use the stock tires, though sayang thread ng stock tires.

Baka mag coilovers nalang siguro in the future to adjust height if it rubs too much

Thanks, brah, but the salute & grats should go more to guys like you, Darryl & to everyone who've appreciated & embraced a humble hobo idea. Without y'all it serves no purpose, no inspiration whatsoever.🙏
Without y'all, it would have just been like a sperm w/o any egg in sight.
Found long ago the source of joy....it's in sharing!🙏

42 will be pushing it a bit w/ a drop. On stock height, you'll be fine, I guess. The 225/40s GeoManc3r has are 19s. You could've tried 225/45/18s...but you'll likely rub rears dropped.
215s are not recommended for 8.5s....but they'd fit & would likely clear. I just dunno how they'd look. Mild hellaflush, I suppose....
What rims were you eyeing, sir? Care to share pix?

On coilovers, most springrates I've seen here are at 6kg/mm. Please note our stock springrates are just
    2.5kg/mm F/
    3kg/mm R.....
Just so everyone will be advised on ride expectations. With balanced dampening, the coilies can ride well tho.
