What rim width? If 18x8, go 225/45. 10mm wider than stock w/ minimal odo effect.

    thanks
Shops like SpeedLab should be able to help you. Note that bumper surgery is required. I'm sure a few here saw their twin pipe prototype for the 1.5Sky done on a fellow Mown3r's. Who knows, SpeedLab might have a bolt -on system out by now.
Pretty sure other exhaust shops are able, too. It's not a complex system.
And oh, the sound will be louder, the butt ***ier, but the gains may just be imagined....Expect no added horses w/ this mod.:D

Speedlab alreadh has a V muffler bol-on to convert the exhausts of the 1.5. They are asking 22,500 for it. If they will have a group buying discount I will join in. Sa ibang items kasi may group buy discount sila eh

Thanks, Troy sir. Nothing much done really. The minor mods on this daily hauler were either miracles or DIY..Many made hobo & possible by the extended hands of buddies. Can't justify crazy spending on an econobox. Grateful here!🙏

Guys, I was washing my car today, I noticed that the metal used in the cover of my gas tank is very thin, it's like made of cheap metal sheet, heck my kia carens gas tank cover is thicker compared to my mz3, oh well, what do I expect from a China made Mazda hayzzz...

Its not a load bearing part so its normal to use thinner gauge steel on gas flaps.

    The price of lightening, sir.
From another perspective, it's more an advantage than a dis.
Mazda, like many now, uses Boron steel, a new type of steel used in the manufacture of vehicle's safety cell. The steel is part of the martesinic family of steels.
Its high strength to weight ratio is perfect for the modern vehicle designer who wishes to improve the strength of the safety cell on a vehicle, whilst also keeping the shells weight to a minimum.
Fuel & performance efficiency are obvious side effects of lightening. You'll feel those horses more.:D

Ah ok, thanks guys, I feel a lot better now, I will be taking my baby Mazda tomorrow to shanghai (around 350kms from where I'm staying), I'll be using the expressways and it will be a nice break in period for the car.

Thanks mast3r, I'm still saving for the under chassis strut bars (front&rear).. Been very satisfied with the front strut/tower bar, and it made the stubborn ticking sound disappear. Plus the handling improved a lot.

I figured that would help. Mentioned that in 1 of those ticking discussions. Finally got you as proof! I'm not a fan of the tick fix TSB. Yikes....Luckily, my hobo has no tick...knock on wood!
Rear sway bar can really change how FWD cars handle, Black sir! Subscribe to your plans!👍

*travajante - the 'ticking sound' really frustrated me (imagine roads in our province, potholes everywhere, add the skyscraper humps inside the subdivision) not until I planned installing strutbars. It really fixed the problem, no going back and forth to the dealer and talking sh!t to the SA. 3 weeks and counting, still no ticking sound on potholes, uneven roads and humps. Thumbs up for this mod, highly suggested! Go get one Mown3rs.

The ticking is from the cowl frame to firewall joints when the body's front end is subjected to all the torsional forces. The initial TSB involved raping & abuse w/ use of screwdriver & hammer.😱 Yikes!!!!
The strutbar counters those forces & you, plainBlack sir, have just given everyone the empirical proof of the ideal tick fix. Hope you can share your bar cost, brand & source to all out there. Ultra Racing has 1 under Php5k. Dealerships should be stocking these as a double edged sword of an accessory.
    Thank you, Mr. Black!

After a year of watching how the M3 has been personalized into various iterations, twas safe to say you can't put kodo down whatever you do, whatever chrome one puts, whatever rims are rocked or kits added....TIL NOW!!!! I'm in shock!😱

I never imagined the M3 can be an able comic relief....sigh. Sacrilege & grave sin! Tsk tsk tsk. Hahaha.
Anyone is free to differ tho....to each his own, remember?
