Hahaha! Mutants... It was you who started all of these modifications, especially the plate relocation
Personally, our car is already good looking in stock form. What more if you modify it (changing rims, lowering)? But for me, I would like to do some performance modifications, right after Yojin 3 expires. Maybe changing the intake will do for me.
The ceiling of potential for the M3 is so high in both performance & aesthetics. Plus, the mix of Euro-handling & Nippon reliability is something no other make can claim, well, perhaps the 86 triplets could, but they're about twice the cost.
Modifications, performance or cosmetic, are usually borne out of passion rather than need. I've to agree w/ testa, the car is great & adequate stock.....& I admire the Mown3r who has the strength, resistance, resolve, discipline & self control to fight back the mod bug.
Grats on that, testa brah.![]()
Sir JohnM is talking about this:

Never underestimate hydro forces, & whenever possible, never brave floods. I waded thru 1 last week & the Honda backplate must've held it together or I just got lucky???? Do old plates fare better? I doubt. LTO should blink on plate protectors, I suppose. But yes, sir John, Mazda's design blunder has a fluke advantage here.....& I admire your resolve!![]()
