    Yup. I saw M3's with 18 x 8 with et 40 on 225 x 45's.

Undercoating is just a scheme by dealers to earn more. It's not necessary anymore.

Stay et45 up & play w/ spacers, sir, in case you'd succumb to the temptation of lowering.

got my mz3 2.0 serviced * alabang for 20T km. As usual had a great experience. very accomodating sila even Late ak 1hr. Took around 2hrs before ak nkalabas ng casa. Didnt pay anything as well. Ang kulang lang cgro is the list of things na ginawa nila but the s.a said i can request for it next time. As for fuel consumption, mine is 7.8li/100km.

After Mazda went straight to atc and saw the new honda hrv mugen edition. Quite a looker too but a bit pricey (1.5million with just 1.8 engine).

There's a new mazda dealership and service center * sta rosa laguna, just across paseo. anyone here tried their service?

Yup, saw that HRV display at ATC yesterday as well. Now i'm having second thought whether to switch may order of M3 2.0R since waiting pa rin to the HRV L. Wifey & bunso is making kulit for HRV.

My order of M3 is at Sta Rosa. Known my SA & service head there since Ford Alabang days. Very supportive sila at madaling kausap, just go straight to the point.

bro whats the name of the service head? i might try them on my next pms. As for the HRV, i find the non-mugen variant a biT boring on the outside, would stick with mz3 If i were you. You wont regret a thing inside/outside

Look for Mark Fernandez. Your right, M3 hatch looks better than HRV plus the gas consumption & the 3 yrs free PMS. But then again, this country's road condition is more for SUV than a sedan.

Points well taken sirs. My follow up questions:

    (1) wala bang issue with with 5x114 lug pattern granting na dapat 5x114.3 dapat?

    (2) since wala naman akong plans to lower the car, does that mean that i can go down all the way to et35?

    Many thanks!

5x114 is just short for 114.3 or 4.5". So, no issues there. Et35 is 15mm outwards of factory et50. Expect rubbing, unless you stretch tires & apply ample negative hind camber.

A funny proof of how the HRV is expected to pale beside a CX3 is in this comparo where all the HRV specs are known & not much of the 3 is disclosed. Haha....
    2016 Honda HR-V vs 2016 Mazda CX-3 - The Car Connection

Honestly & sadly, the HRV doesn't excite....Then again, my preferences don't agree with most & are therefore irrelevant & insignificant.

So for me, satisfied na sa ride comfort.
