Afaik 1week.. Pero Yung Sakin Meron na daw? But I didn't check kung meron Na nga...
It's not healthy to baby an engine. Mazda's are built with Zoom Zoom in mind.
I just noticed walang laman yung round na part. Do u guys have this or know what it is?
Can some owners check if you have the time, kung meron kayo or wala? Thanks guys.
Shifting at low rpm will also over a short period of time accumulate carbon deposits in your engine which will result in an early death of it. It is better to shift at the right rpm so as to minimize the carbon deposits better yet once in a while you give your engine a race like acceleration for decarbonizing. Don't baby your engine. It is what it is. Just enjoy it but not over do it.
I remember when I had my ex-M3 2009 modified by SpeedLab, the chief mechanic told me that I had to make "hataw" my Mazda from time to time. When he was revving the engine he felt the engine rather holding back. It helps daw to make "hataw" engine (Kolehiyala mode). Hahaha! I noticed mas mabilis humatak ang engine ng bagong M3.
In normal city driving, enough na nga yung shifting at 1800-2000 for the Altis. I'd assume 1750 for the Mz3 is just right, given the bigger engine and higher torque. Not sure though if the Mz3 1.5 can do that, as when I drove it, it was always 2500-3000 rpm even for slow city driving as it felt so labored lugging around 4 people.
just wondering, how do you know if the gear has shifted in automatic gearboxes? pag bumaba ule ng 1k yung rpm? hahaha pardon for the ignorance

I don't look at the revs that much. I like the sound it makes anyway2500rpm is good enough when the light turns green. When I reach my desired cruising speed I let off the gas and it is content chugging along below 1500rpm.
It didn't feel underpowered lugging around 4 hefty adults and a trunk full of luggage. I still got more than 10kpl (city early Saturday) on that trip![]()

Thanks! That's a good FC! If the car shifts * 2500 RPM and still be able to give 10kpl, then that's great!

10 kpl lang? akala ko sabi nila 14-17 kpl onmix city & hi-way driving on a 2.0. Hindi ba totoo ito?
I rarely rev past 2k RPM, but that's just 3 people inside. Sometimes nsa 6 to 7 people kaming nasa loob pero di ko naman pinapaabot ng 3000

Haha ganun ba. Okay naman pala, sufficient naman pala si 1.5v. Dami ko rin kasing nabasa na you need to push the pedal more just to get enough power. OA lang pala yon.
Astig sir, napagkakasya mo 7 sa auto mo.

One motoring journalist I talked to in Pasig (not Niky) said he actually preferred the response of the 1.5 over the 2.0 maybe because the 1.5 is lighter and its tranny tuning is different to compensate for the lower power. Ibang usapan na daw sa dulo though as the 2.0 catches up.
