I like the start/stop button. It prevents over cranking during engine starting which damages the starter and crankshaft gears.

The auto lights and wipers were designed to minimize accidents by automatically clearing obstructed/hampered vision.

On a practical side the push to start button is lighter and less (mechanically) complicated than a key. It's not a high end feature. The Mirage has one.

Hirap kausapin

BTW the Vios gen 2 already has measures that prevent overcranking. You don't have to hold the key at the start position until the engine starts. Just twist the key to the start position and release. Just replace the key with a button.

The iStop is a result of US legislation that requires a car brand to have an average fuel mileage and emission levels across its whole model range. Mazda is one of the highest rated in terms of mileage and achieved this without having a hybrid or a diesel in their US lineup.

I think wala pa. Another thing to consider eh LED bulbs ang 2.0, as opposed to common bulb sa 1.5.

You mean sir there are accidents caused by having no auto light and wiper features in a car? Is it not that when you see it's getting dark your turn on your headlights?or you see rain and you turn your wipers on? All im saying is there are features in todays cars that we consumers don't really need. Unlike in smartphones all features are needed in today's age. That's all sir. No harm intended. It's just my opinion [emoji4]

I see lots of new cars running around at night with headlights off. Noob drivers most likely. Made that mistake once. My father never made me forget it

Yes, anything that hampers/obstructs your vision can cause accidents.

Like I said. Hating or liking technology depends on the user.
A simple eyeglass may be useless to some but to me it is a necessity.
The important thing is that the technology is already available as a option.

Meron pa rin mga absent-minded kasi. Like before may nakita ako kotse umaandar sa gabi nakapatay ang headlights. Thing is, its still hard to see the car at night lalo na kasi black sya, even with the street lamps it is still prone to accident.

Sa wiper naman meron taong di pa rin ino-off or low setting yung wipers kahit tumigil na yung ulan. I can only imagine na kumakaskas na yun sa windshield.

Rubber insulator installed in my mz 3 sedan appears to be holding out. No more irritating and unnecessary eminating from underneath the vehicle. Also, after some cleaning of the air filter by casa, car appears to be more responsive. Mz 3 is really very light and maneuverability is quite good. Its even difficult to control the urge to just floor the damn thing as the acceleration will put a smile to your face. By the way, mazda pasig installed the rubber insulator and it works so far.

Marami na nakapagpalit ng aftermarket rims both 1.5 and 2.0 sa M3 Skyactiv Club sa FB. I for one own a 1.5 and have the 2.0 stock mags.

Regarding your query if warranty will be voided, i really can't answer you on that. Havent heard from the group of an instance wherein theyve claimed for warranty due to aftermarket rims/mags. Baka pag nagpalit pa siguro ng aftermarket springs like lowering your car, dun baka mavoid.

Oo ako nga un bro. Either way, HB or Sedan, it will really grow on you. Meron ka naman siguro mabibilhan ng stock 2.0 mags by the time na makakuha ka na ng Mz3 mo.

BTW, goodluck on your bank hunting. 👍

Whoa. Atleast you're ok. Hassle nga lang to have it replaced. Just look at the bright side. Hindi total wreck and hindi ka nakabangga.

The 4 dots are lights. If you have a sedan, I was told by Anson that they have the OEM-type camera now. Malabo daw magkaron for the HB. Let's wait for other replies.
