Yup di siya lumalabas kapag via bluetooth. Sa usb lang. Haven't tried with a CD though, just realized.

I got confused by the earlier posting that i-stop is pretty much related/dependent on cabin temp, wherein as what I know airconditioning, from what I have read, it will still function properly when the i-stop is engaged.

Hmm. . .how can the compressor run if the engine is off?
Maybe the cabin temperature is among the parameters in controlling i-stop. It may also include data from sensors in battery charge level, engine temperature, etc.

With the intense heat here, it looks like too long on iStop e.g. in heavy traffic isnt gonna be comfortable.

I believe the i-eloop is to help recharge the capacitor of the i-stop. Much energy is consumed in stop and go.

That is the amount of energy the capacitor can store. i-eLoop is regenerative braking technology. The capacitor recharged by the engine and the eLoop. So when you just started the engine, the capacitor has not yet fully charged so i-stop does not work as long. It's not because of the cabin temperature.

Nope, compressor is off. Blower lang talaga nagana kasi once i-stop kicks in, hangin lang ang nalabas sa vents. Residue nalang yun lamig na lumalabas.

puede na rin... for very short periods. ... beats nothing at all.
how many cars do we know, whose aircon blowers still function with the engine off?
now, if we were to put in an electric motor to turn the compressor even with the engine off... but we'd probably need an extra battery, or a xxx-sized battery.

yup. it makes sense if the compressor is not belt driven but electric motor driven.
the stored energy can run the aircon for a limited time

I think too much features in cars nowadays makes it all more costly and harder to maintain. Is all this really needed? Once it breaks down will cost us an arm and leg to have it replaced.
