November 6th, 2012 10:49 AM #131Hi,
For BT-50 owners, Please Inspect your tires.
After using my BT-50 2,100 kms..
I discovered one of the tire they installed is H/T bridgestone (4x2).
And the rest of the tires were Dunlop A/T (4x4).
I reported it, and they called back asap.
customer relation miss Gay of mazda greenhills, was very prompt to investigate.
I said, It may got swapped during my 1st 1000 kms check. But reviewing in to their CCTV,
they did not remove the tires, they just tighten the bolts.
So we talked, she apologizes, admitted and reported the incident, but could not replace it.
She said she will just give me a labor discount on my next 10K check.
Matagal pa kako, wala pa kasi plate number ko,
and I could not use it to max until the canopy arrives.
I said, your warranty booklet, says every 5K, but the owners manual was 10K. confusing I said.
She said the warranty booklet used in my unit was the old one, and it's should be 10K interval.
Well seems they changed their mind, because I did ask the maintenance interval when I bought it.
Or maybe... its the competition....
(Owners, please respond if its true, "10K" is the service interval)
They agreed to transfer the reserve tire A/T with the H/T tire.
Bridgestone H/T and Dunlop A/T performance is not the same.
I asked my driver to bring the unit for the tire swap.
and the service advisor said to my driver, I remember his name richard.
This mistake was done during the assembly at their Laguna plant.
So for other MAZDA BT-50 owners, Please check your tires.
Baka me naligaw na Dunlop tire sa batch ng Bridgestone.
From my experience, mas madali ma pudpod ang dunlop A/T,
Compared to Bridgestone na mas makunat at mas tahimik ang H/T.
