I use 'here' and 'maps.me' as back-up before. You can download the whole phil map. Google maps is laborious. You have to download pieces of the map. Internet coverage has improved drastically over the past few years that even in the far flung areas, you can get a signal decent enough to be able to navigate and waze has been more than sufficient more than 95% of the time.

Based on experience mas ok gamitin ang Huawei P9 Plus compared to the iPhone 6s for Waze. Mas mabilis ang lock-on and bihirang maligaw.

Pero yung free Lenovo base model phone ko lagi akong nilolocate 100 meters from the actual. Tagal pa makahanap ng satellite.

tignan mo kung over 20 satellites nakikita nung p9, then compare sa iphone
so far pinaka OK sakin xperia phones, then high end korean phones
both korean and china phones (less 20k price), meron ako nakikita 12 - 15 max

Kilala ba ni Waze mga one way streets sa Baguio?

Will be going there and driving around, and staying for 3 days eh, for the first time. Alala ko when we went there before, pasikot sikot yung cabs and jeeps na nasakyan namin.

It worked several years ago. I wish it can locate parking areas though. Camp John Hays' Pizza Volante serves up some cheap local steak.

I am so thankful for Waze. I'm a creature of habit so I don't deviate from my route going to and from work. Lately, this just isn't possible anymore Just today my usual route was not moving at all and the estimate was 1 hr work! So I will be late for at least 1.5 hrs! I switched on Waze and it recommended a route, I took the chance and I was in the office in 30 mins

I once used waze going to bicol via Marcos HW-Antipolo-Tanay-Morong-Pagsanjan-Luisiana-Lucena near Pagbilao junction na ang labas. Accurate naman and very helpful sa unfamiliar roads. Para lang nga ako nag ddrive mag isa sa kabundukan 1-3AM.

    Nice bro.

The mountain road at Pagsanjan Cavinti Majayjay Luisiana Lucban is one surreal drive...

Tanayburging Buti nalang mejo completed na ang road widening.

This East road alternate route is better/shorter than the StarToll-Ibaan Exit-Rosario Candelaria-Eco Tourism Rd-Lucena-mas mahaba ang route na ito at masikip kalsada.

That's the nice scenic route bro. Iwas pa sa toll fees . Mas nakakapagod lang yung corners.

Im also an old school driver, usual route to and from the office for years. I tried waze one time since i need to be early sa office and i know medyo rush hour. Ayun ambilis ng byahe, natuwa lang ako. Kaya pinopromote ko waze sa mga friends ko.

Is your Waze updated when going to naia t3? Mine took a diff route and kept taking the wrong turns. Same with the uber driver's waze. Dami na kasing new flyovers.

I think the problem is...gps devices cannot accurately compute altitude. It is very accurate laterally but if you have a flyover it really doesn't know if you are on the flyover or on the road below it. If it guesses wrong then the routes it will give would also be inaccurate.
