    My thoughts on Waze

    - i love the social aspect of it
    - i love the fact that it's ETA is more accurate than say Google Maps
    - i love the fact that you can report stuff
    - the interface could be improved, i'm not a fan of candy looking things if you know what i mean

cool app especially for city driving. i'm not 100% confident i'll rely on it when going to "really" unfamiliar places.

I rely on HERE over Waze, especially when I don't have stable data connection

I used Here and dinala ako sa pilapil. Yes, the app has a complete map of the Philippines, but it doesn't even know which roads are real roads and which ones are narrow dirt roads in the middle of a rice field. To think, this was just in Pampanga. What more in secluded areas of the country.

Waze still has smarter suggestions, by far.

I used Waze when I was in Leyte in the middle of night looking for the port. It brought me to a middle of a bridge.

Lesson learnt: never rely on one app
