I'm coming from SLEX. Normally I exit Calamba but I hate the traffic at Los Banos. I saw a new road after Calamba exit but I think that leads to Batangas.

I take Calauan sometimes but there might be a new route. Traffic is horrible here in Los Banos. I should have passed San Pablo/Calauan

Elbi traffic is at its worst now.

Go to Sto Tomas and take the road gojng to the makban geogthermal plant. It will lead you all the way to Bay, Laguna.

To go to Sto Tomas, I can go dulo of slex (straight ahead instead of exiting at Calamba)? I've always wondered where that road leads

been to lucban last week, i took the los baņos/calamba route. walang traffic and that was around 7am iirc. every summer season lang naman grabe ang traffic diyan eh.

I thought so too pero traffic pa rin kanina. Not as bad as summer but still traffic esp the intersection going to UP. Never passing there again.

matter of luck lang siguro though i took caliraya route going back. i have thoughts there would be traffic in LB because it was late in the afternoon already.

Yup. I thought there would be no traffic since it's a Sunday and summer is over. But I was badly mistaken Saka tanghali na rin siguro

How about coming from Metro Manila (Cubao), what's the best route?

    Quickest?

SLEX - Calamba - Ayala Greenfield - Jamboree Road - UPLB - IRRI - Caliraya

The drawbacks: a) Pasol traffic, b) need UPLB sticker; and, c) need IRRI sticker although you can take the Maahas or IPB road exits.

take marcos hi-way all the way to masinag then up to antipolo via sumulong hi-way.
yet be advised that you should be at antipolo before 6 AM or you might catch traffic build-up as you approach that intersection with the traffic light after you passed the city hall.
