^ The Magilas Trail route is longer, but it bypasses the centers of Villasis and Urdaneta.
It depends... if you're traveling by day, then you might make better time using Magilas Trail, but if you're driving at night (after 7pm) or in the early morning (before 7am), then traffic in Villasis and Urdaneta are not that heavy, except during peak tourist seasons

Avoid Kennon Road when traveling to Baguio this time. There is a road work at one portion and stop and go traffic is very bad. It took me 2 hours going down from CJH to Caltex Rosario last Sunday from the usual 40 to 45 minutes.
Maybe okay when you travel late at night but not during daytime.

Been using this route ever since the road works started in binalonan/sison. As a reminder, the bridge in San Fabian near the gas station junction is closed so better head straight to mangaldan after San jacinto. Laking ginhawa yung TPLEX kasi travel time is lesser now by almost 2 hours. My travel back to Clark last week from Bauang La Union took me only under 2hours using this route.

October 14th, 2014 04:30 PM #39Will be going up to Baguio next week. Anyone been there recently? How is the road condition in Pangasinan? Is it ok to pass Kennon at this time?

October 14th, 2014 05:38 PM #40Tolerable naman mga road works parang tatlo lang ata sa pangasinan at meron isa sa kennon. Pero malamang tapos na yun ngayon dahil nagpunta kami days after typhoon mario and luis. 5am kami umalis ng fairview 10am nakarating ng baguio. Yung 5am to 6am fairview to nlex lang yun hehehe
