Anyone here tried driving to Sagada (from Manila)? How are the roads? Safe enough to drive (assuming daytime driving only)?

di ba may thread na going to sagada?
anyway, kaya ng kahit maliit na kotse. all roads are well paved except for one short portion na mga 200 meters lang dun sa junction where you make a right turn to sagada (straight takes you to ilocos). ingat lang may portions na "undercut" yung road. eto yung nag-slide yung ilalim ng paving so kahit may semento e walang lupa sa ilalim. may mga signs naman pero yung iba nilagyan lang ng mga kahoy sa gitna para iwasan mo. eat an early lunch at baguio kasi very few ang eating places along the way. and be sure you are passed baguio before noon para di ka abutan ng dilim sa daan. it takes 5 hours from baguio to sagada with no stops.
guys, do you have any idea on usually how many hours and road trip to sagada from manila? tnx in advance
Ano ba dapat vehicle to reach sagada? Kaya ba ng sedan?

Drove to Sagada today. To be honest, it's not a very enjoyable drive. Too many slow trucks and the road is really just like a longer Kennon.
This view though somehow made up for it:
P.S. Yes, kayang kaya ng sedan. Some unpaved parts, but nothing unusual for provincial roads in our country.

Nice pic with a rainbow pa. Take the banaue route going down. Mas scenic sya
Yes bro it's really good to escape from Manila every once in a while for a long drive.
Oh another reason why I didn't enjoy the Sagada drive too much was that there were no playmates. It's really more fun when in a convoy with other drivers of equal pace.

Too tiring. Spend the night in Sagada or Bontoc instead.
If you leave 6am you'll get to Sagada at 12nn, then you have lunch for an hour, 4 hours for activities, so you head back to Baguio at 5pm. Add another hour for dinner somewhere along the way and you find yourself arriving back in Baguio past midnight already.
