Nung nagcacanvass ako ng 235/50/18 tires, ang gusto ko bilin yung mga branded japan (dunlop, goodyear, yokohama, etc). Pero sa 4 na shop na pinagtanungnan ko, they are discouraging me to buy them, and pushing me instead to buy relatively known china/taiwan brands instead. (sailun, sunny and westlake particularly). Same lang naman daw ang performance, pero malaki ang price difference. Ended up buying sunny. So far so good pa naman, and definitely more quiet than my old dunlop set.

Nagtaka lang ako kung bakit mas gusto nila ibenta yung mga not so branded tires than the branded ones. Any idea or insights?

Bought it due to price, so much cheaper than the branded ones. Ganda ng tayo nito and thread pattern. But i experience a lot more noise. Parang sirang wheel bearings. Grip is good on dry have not tested on wet though. You get what you pay for.
