January 30th, 2018 12:40 PM #1Sirs quick question lang.
Nagpalit kasi ako ng tires from R14 to R15.
Yung spare na naiwan sa kin is R14, safe ba na gamitin yun incase ng emergency, kahit sa highway?
Dapat ba kumuha ko ng same size na currentl gamit ko(R15)
Thanks

*depends on your driving experience*
Kung mas maliit yung diameter ng R14 tires mo, or mas manipis/makapal mararamdaman mo na kakabig yung sasakyan towards sa direction ng spare...
Spare naman sya so di mo sya gamit araw araw.
As for highway... basta dahan dahan ka lang and exit sa nearest chance na maayos yung gulong mo.

November 16th, 2019 02:40 PM #5Sakto naman itong thread na to sa concern ko ngayon...Good day mga Sirs! Nakabili kasi ako ng second hand car last week and ngayon ko lang napansin yun spare tire ay size 185/70/13 while yun mga nakakabit sa car ko ay 185/55/15. So based from these thread ok lang kahit mas mababa ng kaunti ang size ng mags anyway pang emergency lang naman. Tama po ba? Salamat sa makasasagot

November 16th, 2019 02:43 PM #6"in an emergency, many things may be forgive-able."
consult the tire charts, po, and see just how far or near, the odd tire's circumference is from the rest of the car's tires.
my guess is, the previous owner did, and thought it was "near enough".
then, there's the "kung sasayad sa katawan o fender..."
