I have a question guys. Is it recommended to use a lower offset and wider wheel than the OEM wheels.

I'm planning to put 17x7 48 offset to replace my 17x6.5 52.5 offset wheels. Any advise guys kung okay lang ba eto?

Short answer is no. Stay with in the manufacturer specs. Luluwa yung mags...

Konting load, may rubbing issue na.

Kung talagang trip mo yung wheels why not. Kung may rubbing, just do fender tuck. Yung iba nga wild ng offset pwede eh. Yan sayo ok pa yan. Hindi pa yan yung nasa "stance" category. Pasok pa yan sa form and function.

I would rather have the correct offset than risk rubbing issue and fender roll na pwede simulan ng rust.

Yup. But those rims na na mention ni ts eh almost same spec sa OEM niya. Di gaanong malayo. So he can go ahead anytime. Kung talagang trip niya yung rims. Mind you, it's hard to find an aftermarket rims na same spec as your oem unless siguro pasadya ka pagawa. So most likely hindi na niya kakailanganin mag fender role. But i beg to disagree na takaw kalawang at takaw bulok kapag naka fender role. Mine was fender roled 5 years ago and no problems so far about rusting issue.

thanks for the info guys. Tama ka nga sir saksidriver, according to Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit di sila nagkakalayo and di masyado magkalayo spec nya s OEM.

So next question ko naman is kung anong tires kaya mas bagay. I currently use 215/45/17. Okay na kaya eto or my other choices are 225/45 and 225/40.

Well wala naman ako pakialam since car niyo yan. Sige lang... Fender roll lang. Basta walang sisihan.

Hehe.

And now gusto mo na magpa fender role? Hehe. What's the point. Hehe. Pag sumabit eh di balik stock. Hehe. Kung gusto niya i fender role i di i fender role.

You said kasi walang risk ng kalawang sa fender roll. Wala, gusto ko subukan if stand by your word and give me 5 year warranty.

As I've said within manufacturer specs ok lang.

Oh well bili ka muna ng wheels na not recommended by the manufacturer yung talagang mag rub sa fender mo, then saka ka magpa fender role. I don't own a shop so i can't give you a warranty.

And they were happy with that. At yung mga kakilala mo naman na kinalawang ang fender, i feel sorry for them. Hehe. Happy modding.

Ok sir. Hahahaha. Hope ts would be happy with his new rims and hope he wouldn't experience rusting issues like your friends did should he go to fender role route because he didnt follow the "manufaturer's spec" of rims. Haha.
