san yung biyak? sa sidewall o sa surface?
kung sa surface, patapalan mo yung loob as in parang vulcanized.
    kung sa sidewalls, delikado.

In my opinion, that's the problem with the cheaper chinamade tires.

After all the abuse we've put our cars through, none of our Yokohamas/Bridgestones (Yoko A.Drive/A300 / Bridgestone Turanzas) have had major cracks/bumps.

It's always your call kung itutuloy mo yung lakad. But better safe than sorry. I'd replace the tire na.

    Edit: Can't see the picture

^ Depends how deep the cut is into the sidewall. Will a thin ruler fit through the crack so you can check? (Not sure if there are other alternatives on how to check how deep the cut really is)

Based on readings from the internet, <basta> hindi pa umabot/nagexpose ng cord, parang okay pa naman. Just be a little more careful/don't push the tire so hard I guess?

I'd rather not lower the psi kasi underinflation (aside from higher fuel consumption) generates excess heat = may also lead to blowout.

Again, since we haven't seen the tire itself, it's important to note that whether or not the tire is safe to use will depend on the depth of the cut compared to the actual width of the sidewall. I'm just saying that if the cut isn't so deep (lack of pics, difficult to call), you can still *probably* use it.

I'm hoping the tire is due for replacement anyway sometime soon.

Looks like the tire was under-inflated and used a lot that way to cause that crack.
