Shadow, salamat sa sagot mo miski may tonong pang-asar- Sorry pero di naman ako magtatanong kung wala pa ko ginawa- pinatignan ko na yung gulong mula nong napansin ko na parang mabilis bumaba hangin, wala naman daw butas. Matagal na to, mula nang binili ko yung mga gulong ganon na sha.
Never pa ito na-vulcanize, mahahaba pa nga ang threads nya kasi bago pa sha.
Iniba iba ko na din yung takip nung pito (?) pero ganon pa din-
May posibility kaya na may crack sha na di madaling makita? Pano kaya kung ako mismo ang maghanap? Pano ba ginagawa yung lubog-tubig method?

By the way, yung tire mo wouldn't happen to be Westlake ba?

regarding the air valve, actually it's not the cover, but the base yung tinitignan. di ba nakaprotrude ung pito? minsan if it was twisted in a wrong way, nagkakasingaw.
regarding dipping in water, yun ren ung ginagawa sa mga vulcanizing shop. dip the tire in water, and while submerged, they apply air parang to check if meron ung sobrang maliliit na bubbles. then that should help you spot the culprit. yung iba kasing shops, gaya ng Petron sa men.. medio la tyaga sa paghanap. minsan lublob lang sa water, ikot ikot ng konti at wala silang nakitang bubbles, un na. wala raw singaw. yung iba naman, lalagyan ng sud ng sabon para to check butas kaya lang, mahirap magspot nito, esp if sobrang maliit butas.

nawawala yung hangin.. so may butas yan.. hindi magaling yung vulcanizing shop na pinupuntahan mo.. hanap ka nang iba..

Tama, hanap ka ng iba.
Dapat ino-overinflate iyan bago ilubog sa tubig, para lumakas yung pagsingaw at mabilis makita/ma-detect.
Dapat obserbahan din nilang mabuti iyung gilid (edge ng RIM) at iyung pito/valve.

kung di sa mismong tire ang singaw niyan, sa gilid ng rim malamang. palubog mo ulit ng dahan dahan tapos maki observe ka rin, wag madalian kasi pag minamadali nagpo produce ng bula kaya nakaka lito. not worth to DIY the leak kasi if ever meron punta ka rin ng vulcanizing

March 19th, 2009 04:40 PM #18problem ko yan dati. it turned out sa valve(pito) mismo yung problem. they can replace the internals of the valve. wala pa atang 2 minutes nung ginawa. syempre di kasama yung pagtanggal-kabit ng gulong at paghanap ng leak.
sa suking vulcanizing shop lang yun. around P75 lang ata yung singil sakin. baka lower pa ata... cant remember exactly.
check mo baka ganun din sayo.

April 19th, 2009 07:02 AM #19sir av427, pa-post po ng solution dun sa prob nyo. alot of ppl can benefit from this (specially me -- have the same tire prob.). My best bet would be the base of the valve like what badbadtz's said since its more vulnerable to tear. Most gasoline boys will not dare try opening by force tightly gripped caps lest they tear the base of the valve.
If i can visit my vulcanizer the soonest, i will post an answer and i hope it would help.

+1...sir pabagklas mo then palinis mo ung rim na kinakapitan ng goma. may matitigas na dumi kci doon maybe when they fit ung new tires mo hindi nilinis pinahiran lang ulit ng pandikit then salpak agad. ako sir out of 4 new tires 1 din ang sumabit kci dami namin namimili ng gulong sa banawe kya mabilisan ang gawa nila walan linis linis.
