yes a/t iyong oem tires ko bro. dunlop a/t 20 grandtrek to be exact. parang konti nga lang ganun nakikita ko dati na ganyan ang tires straight from the casa

There are a lot of tire brands to choose from and others that I'm not familiar with. Now I know that I have an alternative among the list.

What I have is Bridgestone Turanza. I'll see Yokohama... two years from now.

    Thank you for this thread.

literature varies from 6 years to 10 years, depending on what one is reading.
i easily remember michelin's "tires are not bananas" infomercial.
i would probably replace the tires when the tire wear markers are reached, which, i estimate, will be in 4-5 years.
    i replace in pairs.

I have a friend, who has a friend, that had tires for almond 10 years. Their car is seldomly used so odometer reading is about 10k only. When they drove the car last time, it was a bumpy ride with an accompanying clonking sounds (not sure about the sound, I might have mixed up the story). They found out that one of the tires had an internal lump. This is after they spent a lot of time with their mechanic checking mechanical parts for any mechanical failures.

    dry rot?
    over-inflation?
bad, forgotten bump in the past?

in my case, it was an old-timer who found out.
