There are a lot of tire brands to choose from and others that I'm not familiar with. Now I know that I have an alternative among the list.
What I have is Bridgestone Turanza. I'll see Yokohama... two years from now.
Thank you for this thread.

Hello mga bossing, tanong ko lang..my tires are almalmost 6yrs old but still has more rubbers left on it about 50% thread and logged 45k Odo..do i need to consider replacing them soonest or shall i wait thread wear reaches the tire wear marker?
Tyvm for your advise tsikoteers.
literature varies from 6 years to 10 years, depending on what one is reading.
i easily remember michelin's "tires are not bananas" infomercial.
i would probably replace the tires when the tire wear markers are reached, which, i estimate, will be in 4-5 years.
i replace in pairs.

I have a friend, who has a friend, that had tires for almond 10 years. Their car is seldomly used so odometer reading is about 10k only. When they drove the car last time, it was a bumpy ride with an accompanying clonking sounds (not sure about the sound, I might have mixed up the story). They found out that one of the tires had an internal lump. This is after they spent a lot of time with their mechanic checking mechanical parts for any mechanical failures.
If you increase tire size, chances are you will have increase in fuel consumption.

Mga sir ano magandang size upgrade para 175/65 R15 ng honda city? Kaya ba yung 195/60 sa stock rims?
Hello all!!
I just want to know your opinions regarding good year tires. size 175/65/14.
thanks
Good Day mga ka tsikots!
For those tire experts, just wondering why some for SUVs, gumagamit ng stock tire width na beyond sa ideal or recommended Rim width?
Example, for Monty ang stock Rim ay 7.5" but using 265mm Tire width. Pero basa sa mga nababasa ko eh 235mm lang maximum tire width nya.
Salamat sa expert opinion mga bossing.
hello mga sir!
I need to replace my stock tires now for my Hyundai Tucson.
Any recommendations/feedback?
I'm looking at potentially Yokohama, Bridgestone or Good Year.
Thank you!

Fortuner 2020 going 1 size up here.
Stock size is 265/65/17 and I’m looking to upsize to 265/70/17. Has anyone done this on stock coils no lift?
I’m looking to just fill up the wheel well since the space is so big and that little bit of an extra inch of clearance is always good.
Looking for good AT or hybrid AT tires that wont break the bank. Saw the AMP tires and they look good at a good price point. Any other recos? Sailun ba ok? Mastercraft?

Was unlucky last weekend to hit a very deep pothole which caused sidewall punctures on 2 of my tires and even chipped one rim. [emoji30] Sayang because my tires still had 3.5mm tread left, enough for about 10,000 km more. But since it was a sidewall cut, no choice but to replace the tires.
Had to use the hideous stock wheels as I ordered new tires and had the chip on my rim repaired.
All's well that ends well, finally got a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and my rims are like new again. [emoji4]
