10mm or 5.4% ang ilalapad ng new tires. Negligible na ito.
The wider the tires, the bigger road surface it grips. Driving is easier and safer.
So. kadalasan, I always say yes to wider tires

Re your question, if there's no "rubbing", go for it!

For more comfort and grip go for 195/55/15. Pero ano ba lapad ng mags mo sir? Basta 6 inches and more, pwede na yun lapad na 195 na tires. Anything lower than that, parang nakaprotrude yun sidewall ng tires mo nun. Neuton tires are made from Indonesia and are recommended by auto shops who specialize in track setup. For 195/55s, mga P2.5k each or less if set. If you want made in Japan, go for Toyo DRBs or Dunlop LMs. Mga P3k exact or P3k+ each na yun. If you want cheaper like P2k each tire, China brands na yun. Afaik, for this size: 185 55 R15 - bang for the buck na yun Kumho Ecstas for P3k or less each. Pero baka Taiwan or Vietnam made to. Korean-made tires are also priced at P3k or less for 15" sizes. It will also depend on your location so you have access sa tire shops who give good discounts on tires purchased in set.
