My current mags size is 15x6.5 wrapped with a 235x75 Bridgestone Desert Dueler.
I got a plan to put a wider mags/wheels which is 15x7 or 15x8, but will use the same tire I have.
Any inputs? Pros/Cons?

For those sizes, there aren't many issues. You'll just have to check that the offset is similar or identical to your current mags so that you won't have any problems with fender rubbing... with a 15x8, it might rub no matter what the offset, but on an AUV/SUV/CUV, likely not, unless you're running with way too much cargo.

that's a big change...if you're using the same rubber it may look stretched or simply not work. what are you looking to accomplish by changing to a wider wheel?
* Niky, will have to check with the wheel offset and compare... the AUV is a daily drive with 2 kids as passenger so I don't have problems on heavy load.
* v6dreamer, I will have to check out this links... ty.
* empy, I've always wanted to have my tires wall at least in the same plane where the body of the car lies. I don't want either to expose the tire outside the body of the car. When I stare at the rear end of the car, it just irritates me when I see the tires offset from the body.
If 15x8 is too much of a change, will probably result into 15x7. By the way I'm looking into the AR tailgunner steel chrome wheel.
Sorry... it turned out to be a double post.

ok, got it. the problem i see if the tire edge is flush with the fender lip, is that it will be prone to rubbing against the body under full load, or over bumps. i dont know what car you have, but just check to see if that would be an issue.
