Swerte! It could have been a cause for an accident. Ingat nalang next time and try to eliminate the rats sa garage mo.
I think rats are a big menace. I once left my Sportage parked sa isang residential building for a couple of straight nights and then when I brought it to the casa a week after, they found rat droppings and what seems to be remains of a couple of meals they had near the engine! I immediately got very worried and asked the kind mechanics of Kia Pasay to check every single wiring and rubber hosings. Fortunately, they found everything's ok.
Is there a way to protect our vehicles from these pests?

May mga cage traps na sa garahe at mga racumin. Wala pang nahuhuli ang trap pero nauubos ang mga racumin.

I assume that the wires are in the engine bay or is some secured/enclosed area in the car. Then, why would the rats be interested in gnawing them? Unless there are traces of foods on them???
