thanks for your feedback. my wife liked the big passenger space and the car's driving responsiveness. she liked the suspension, sa akin medyo firm ng konti. parang SUV space and ride with fuel economy of a compact sedan. she got one. this would have been a perfect car kung me height adjustment yung driver's seat saka pwedeng maadjust yung instrument panel lighting sa gabi.

Congrats on your wife's new ride! ;-)

After 4 fill-ups, I'm averaging 9.1 km/L, mixed city/highway. Also had the fog lights installed 2 weeks ago. It came with a switch that's integrated into the main light switch. While at the dealer, I had the electrician modify the rear brake lights so that the upper and lower portion lights up together whenever I brake. I'll post pics later.

i'm happy with the fc. definitely better than my sta fe and almost the same as my honda fd.

sa ride naman ok na rin, they delivered the car with about 38-40 psi tire pressure. changed it to the recommended 33 psi, kaya very comfortable na yung ride.

the best is the head room. there's even more headroom than im sta fe, kaya kung me cushion height adjustment pwede pa pataasin yung ride height.

yung free headlight ko to follow pa. also changed my tint, sana lang di na kinakabit ng CAC yung BC35, kasi if you want another tint baka masira yung defogger when they remove the tint.

also ordered cargo organizer and cover like the set in the link. OEM 2010 2011 2012 2013 Kia Soul Rear Cargo Under Floor Storage Organizer with Hard Tri-Fold Cover. reasonable yung price ng casa.

hinihiram ko palagi and has been enjoying it for a week. nadiskarga tuloy yung SUV ko. he he.

How much is the cargo organizer? I think the tint comes pre-installed in Korea already.

Here are pics of the fog lights and the modified brake lights. Hindi masyado halata since it's daytime. But it looks good at night. Binigyan ko na lang ng pang-merienda yung electrician sa casa. ;-)

ganda talaga pag me fog lights.

yung cargo tri cover which is standard in some previous models is 5,900. yung cargo organizer is 6,200 or vice versa. pero transported by ship kaya about 60 days ang waiting time. mas makakamura kung pabili sa states, hazzle lang sa magdadala.

am now looking for soul sony ccd back-up camera, license plate-type. pag nakakita ako i'll change the head unit. also looking for matting for the cargo tri cover.

So you got both? We don't need a cargo organizer kasi. Mas kailangan pa namin yung center console armrest since sanay na ako na meron from our SUV.

I also want to change the head unit to the just released Pioneer AVH-X2500BT <http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/DVD-Receivers/AVH-X2500BT>. Just need to order a dash kit and wiring harness from Crutchfield para hindi na mag-splice ng wires.

I also want to change the head unit to the new Pioneer AVH-X2500BT. I just need to get a dash kit and wiring harness from Crutchfield para no need to splice wires.

May dash kit kaya ang Maspro for the 2012 Soul? $20 sa crutchfield.com yung dash kit and wiring harness, but free if you buy the radio from them. No rush for me since hindi pa din available yung Pioneer AVH-X2500BT, kaka-announce pa lang sa US.

Sakto ang fit ng center console kasi it's the exact same thing that's installed in the Plus and Exclaim variants in the US. You just need to drill 3 holes for the screws. Upgraded our Soul's wheels to the Sonata's 18" stock wheels. It's like a bigger version of the stock 16s. Ride is almost the same and handling is so much better since the tires are wider. Very happy with the purchase. ;-)

I got the Belkin Aircast Auto Handsfree as a gift. It plugs in your car's auxiliary port and 12v cigarette charger. It can then stream music from your phone and answer calls thru bluetooth. The 12v cigarette charger also comes with a USB port to charge your phone. It's a great solution for the Soul's stock head unit since it doesn't come with bluetooth and the iPod cable won't work with the iPhone 5.

    *spiff

nice upgrade. i am still planning for a hu change.

    *OniLord

last check ko this week. manual computation, travelled 303.8 km city driving with 35.91 L so 8.46 km/L. sa computer 11.0 km/100 L, so 9.09 km/L. not sure which is more accurate kasi i gassed up in same station but not sure if it was the same pump. pero this is subjective kasi it really depends on the routes you take. i'm happy with it. as a comparison, my civic fd best was 8.0 km/L and sta fe gas best was 7.1 km/L with similar city driving route and conditions.

I want this car as our 2nd car but pinipigilan ako ng wife ko because she finds it really ugly.

Normal route is Muntinlupa to PGH in Manila via Skyway. So the highway driving is negated by Manila traffic during rush hour. Opposite route going back home.

Ganyan din wife ko nung una. Pero when we went to see it up close and had a test drive, she was sold. We looked at all the sub-compact and compact cars in the same price range.

Thanks, the FC is good enough for me. I hope my wife will change her perception of the soul when she sees how spacious the interior is. Mas type pa niya kasi ang SX4...
