Had some 1st hand interstate saddle time in a petrol 8seater Sedona not long ago. Almost 8k of blessed & trouble-free miles in 3weeks or so....was the lone driver, as always.[emoji4]
Good rear luggage space. Served the people hauling chores well. Loaded 6-8pax most of that trip + packed luggage. Consistently 20mpg highway.
Would I get a luxury variant if I wanted 1? No. Was the drive fun? Yes, more from the company & the route than the appliance itself. The expected driver & passenger comfort it did give though. Do I miss it? Not really. Reliability? Took that rental w/ 24k+ mi, returned w/ 32k on the clock...too soon to conclude for 1 that saw good roads, but it gave no tantrums. Was I grateful? Of course![emoji120][emoji4]
If one's looking for a people hauler that will be owner driven, the base Sedona should be in the mix. I won't go 11seater on this, if there is such an option. Maintenance & support? I have no experience w/ koreans locally. I hope they're good......Otherwise, to avoid regrets...there are always those proven Toyotas...the Innova, HiAce....or the Alphard.[emoji16]
