Fellow Tsikoteers, good afternoon!
I posted a question sa isang thread dito. It's about fuel filter replacement for a 2008 Sportage CRDI.
Nung matapos ang service, pinatanggal ko yung engine cover to sheck a leak that was spotted by the previous mechanic who did the oil change.
Now, as expected, andun pa din. The leaks are from the injector tubing or fitting na but mostly sa may high pressure pump. Nung sabihin ko sa
mechanic na I experience some engine noise (somewhere between humming and rattling) during low rpm's, baka yun na nga daw pump ang may
diprensya. DI naman nila daw kaya yun kse wala sila diagnostic or calibration tools for CRDIs.
Any advice po? I also read somewhere here (sa Hyundai forum) na meron nagparepair ng HP pump. At di rin naman nagbago ang consumption as before the rattling at low rpm's, nasa 11-12 mixed. Pero ung ingay nga at yung leaks ay syempre cause for concern
Please help. Thanks in advance.

better ask dieseldude baka naka-repair na siya ng ganyan. hp pump yan, yung maliit na leak will eventually eroded the sealing faces and cause an irrepairable leak.

Thanks, Sir Yebo.
But I'll ask na din.
Thanks again.

Up ko lang,
Bukod sa Central Diesel, meron pa ba ibang shop with a similar service reputation (positive) somewhere here sa southern part of the metro, or better yet in Batangas?
I inquired in one diesel service shop here in Alabang and the quoted price for check-up and test is already almost 6K, wala pa repair or replacement yun. And I have not seen any recommendation on the shop, unlike Central.
Thanks ulit sa mga replies.

Update: I finally brought my ride to Central Diesel. The common rail pump was inspected and they advised repair (Thank God, hindi replacement). Sir dieseldude was even accomodating enough to show me the HP pump diagram and what the repair kit looks like.
So now, okay na yung problema ko about the HP pump.
Kudos to central diesel, highly recommended to all diesel-fed (especially crdi) car owners like me.

1176 Quezon Avenue,
corner Scout Magbanua St.
Quezon City, Metro Manila
Pag along Q-Ave ka na going to Edsa, malapit-lapit na after Araneta Ave. Nasa right side yung shop, blue-gray building.
Or call them for an appointment.
Good luck! Btw, parehas ba nung sakin ang naging problema mo?
For the cost, i-PM ko na lang sayo.
