Not an expert myself but I remember that Hyundai/Kia vehicles with CRDi engines have a quick way of determining if you need to cool down the engine before shutting off. I used to drive Hyundai and Kia's for work before and the information they gave us during the turnover seminar was that the speedometer had a redline around the 60 kph mark (though it differed between models - the company I used to work for bought Getz and Rios models for the fleet). Once you pass the redline, the turbo would usually activate and as such would need to pass a minute or two of idling before turning it off. In practice though, whether I speed past the red line I'd wait before shutting it off. My coworkers though didn't think much of it though. Nevertheless, I'd err on the side of caution with CRDi's and idle a minute or two before shutting it down. Also, reading the owner's manual wouldn't hurt.

Kakagaling ko lang sa may wheels erod to take a look at the 2013 carens, ang kunti kasi daan wala pa ako nakikita first hand.
First impression, gumanda na nga ang styling, interior is really nice, at roomy din ang upuan, lalo na kung nakaatras ang 2nd row.
may mga concern lang ako, medyo mababa nga ang clearance from the ground - kapag fully loaded ba ng pasahero or gamit, di ba sumasayad ang ilalim sa humps or ramps? at may nakasubok na ba idaan sa baha? how high ang baha, if ever nasubukan nyo na?

Nung nailabas ko from dealership yung unit ko dinala agad namin ito from Alabang to Malolos, Bulacan with 6 passengers(front-2 / 2nd row2 / 3rd row-2) and some bags. Sa lubaklubak na EDSA never cya sumayad at around 50 to 60kph speed. Pinatakbo ko din sadali nang 140kph sa NLEX at hindi din naman sumayad. May mga dinaanan din kaming humps along Malolos at hindi din sumayad. Yung tires are the R17 and 45 series.

nangyari lang po saken eh sumabay lang mga officemates papuntang kaininan mga 4-5km lng siguro. 8 passengers. isang malaki sa tabi ko..hehe. 4 sa gitna, 3 sa likod. sa likod may payat. sa gitna sakto lang. nde ko naman naramdaman bumababa nung sumasakay sila.ako yun sir, di ko sure kng super sensitive ako sa ganyan. not sure kung helpful sayo yung info na to
