Yung 2018 ko, wala naman akong complaints. 3/4 a/c setting & speed 2 fan nag fog glasses ko. Pag byahe & open rear vents, very comfortable naman.

From other press release, the Euro version will be a bit bigger than the current gen Sportage but wll be smaller than the world version. There will also be minor differences. From press releases, there are three different designs.

Not the ones made in Korea. Mga US made made gasoline models may engine & tranny problems.

sa GT, very smooth ang transmission. not unlike sa other car na ramdam mo yung lag at jerk. for sure in the long run with the proper maintenance mukhang hindi papahuli sa mga known brand!

2024 Kia Sportage 30th Anniversary Edition special revealed | Autoindustriya

What makes the 2024 Sportage stand out is the 30th Anniversary Edition, which comes with unique exterior and interior features. The body gets glossy black roof racks, outside mirror covers, grille and door garnish, front and rear bumper extensions, and both the 18- or 19-inch wheel options.

Inside are leather seats with new quilting patterns and suede inserts, and headrests with the 30th Anniversary Edition logo. Buyers can choose between green or black cabin colors.

Looks have improved but, unfortunately, I don't think this will be priced well enough to compete here.

A base model gas variant priced higher than the TOTL Territory will not sell. A hybrid priced over 2M will not sell vs the competition either -- the RAV4 HEV base model is now just 2M while the fully loaded Sealion 6 is half a million cheaper.

I was not knowledgeable of their old model cars, but were they also made in Korea?
I think made in Korea cars nowadays demands premium price.

From Hyundai, the latest Tucson and Santa Fe Gen 4 and up were made from Korea.
I can attest that the craftmanship quality is good, in my Santa Fe Gen4, wala pa din akong na experience na rattling and any other issues sa engine in my 4 years+ of ownership.

Also, South Korea is not an ASEAN member so probably this is also one of the factor of the high price.
But other cars not made in Korea, they are affordable naman and priced right (KIA Stonic and the Sonet?).
Not sure of the quality of the make though.
