interesting thought. with regards to high fc for city driving, could it also be the 6 gears is the culprit? yung 1st and 2nd ay mas maraming spurs o ngipin kaya mas maraming ikot para din di mahirapan engine humatak sa body na the same platform ng kia Soul o Sportage.

Guys, just wanted to share my experience yesterday 6-28-13 which I can't get over. Around 10:30 PM, we were in the intersection of Adriatico St/ Quirino Ave Manila stoplight waiting for the green light (in front of Manila Zoo). on green light, while turning left, naramdaman na na nakadaan ako sa isang bato at the rear, nagulat ako because its been our 4th time na dumadaan dun wala naman batong ganon. I slowed down biglang may nadaan ulit akong malaking bato infront sa left side.I was so worried kasi feeling ko ang lakas ng tunog nya sa gulong. Akala ko baka maflat na kasi 17" si rio so I stopped after crossing the intersection. I was about to check and go outside, biglang may nakita akong sa rear window na dalawang batang lalaki mga 9 - 10 years old tumatakbo papunta sa amin. My wife told me not to go down so slow umandar ako. So far, wala naman akong naramandam after the incident and nung nakarating na kami sa bahay, ni check ko lahat, tires under, kaninong umaga tire presssure and all are fine.
Nalaman ko na modus pala yung ganon ng mga taga dun at kung binaba mo yun, yari ka.

it just occured to me that it will be difficult to renew the yearly registrstion because it is difficult to stencil the engine number. i do not know if it is only in this 2012 RIO MT sedan where you have to remove a lot of components just to stencil the engine.
