thanks for all your inputs. will regularly visit this thread and wait for xander's reviews :D

btw, i also don't have any plans of using this on hard core off roading. maybe the most "off road" that i will go are the unpaved roads of provinces.

citimotors alabang used to offer a test drive on the MS. around 3rd quarter last year. don't know if they still do.

three weeks ago, while i was fine dining sa Burgos Circle, may natanaw ako sa circle a bnew kia sorento w/ no plates dun. ayaw nya magbyad sa parking so dun sya pumark sa circle pero bantay niya yun car. napagkamalan ko nga driver yun mayari kasi hanging lang sya eh pero after 30 min. waiting, dumating ata asawa niya. kasi naman eh nakapang-bahay lang.

Dude of course maganda SF mo para sayo.. like what i said ang tatalo lang sa ganda nang SF mo eh SF mo din ha ha ha. Lalaban ako sa papogian ha ha ha...Syempre again mas pogi ang SF mo kesa sayo diba? kasi nga ang tatalo lang sa ganda nang SF mo eh SF mo din.. ulti mong itsura mo di kayang taluhin SF mo ha ha ha

i'm back....as i have said to all the sales people I've inquired...after holy week na tayo magusap ulit...hahahhaha!!!

So...eto nanaman....looking for the right vehicle. Before i went silent for weeks...we saw the sorento courtesy of xander. To me, it seems santa fe and sorento looks the same except for the dashboard...speaking of the inside. As for the exterior...it depends na talaga sa taste of each person...pero looks the same pa din except for the curves. Syempre naman....same maker..what do you expect.

about the engine pala.....i think the best to give comparison on that are those experts on line on this thread. Mga experts dyan...share your knowledge naman about santa fe's diesel engine and sorento's coming out diesel engine!

Same engine lang yata yun if I'm not mistaken. If ever there's a difference, its just a minor tweak.

Ano?Nasa 300K ang deposit nyang Sorento 2WD CRDI VGT R-Series at 2.4 Dual CVVT LX.At saka di ka naman malulugi dyan IMHO!

Iba naman yang tig 875K na Soul 1.6 LX sa 2 Liter Soul LX..Mas loaded at mas malakas ang engine nang Soul 2 Liter LX kaya mas mahal yan..
