Test drove the Forte Koup today at Kia Lipa...

I was actually checking out the 4 door sedan nang may pumasok na naka koup color white.. dali dali akong lumabas together with an SA to check it out. I ask the SA kung test drive unit and he said no, sabi nya yan ang kotse nang may ari nang Casa. Bumaba yung dalawang sakay... Father and Son...tapos nagpaalam yung SA dun sa anak nang may ari if i can check out the unit.. and he said yes... after looking aroud the car outside and inside.. bumalik na kami sa Casa, then the you guy told the SA if i wanted to test drive it... I said OH YESS PLEASEEE... it's not a test drive unit but a personall car nung mag ama na may ari nang casa he he he...

Anyway pag labas nang casa... sobrang na impress ako.. medyo hinataw ko nang konti...at eto ang masasabi ko...

Car is fast...
Car is very comfortable inside..
Ang lakas nang Aircon...
Ang ganda nang handling at response...
Ang ganda nang tunog nang makina habang hinahataw
Hindi sya matagtag pag dinaan mo sa pangit na kalsada...

after the test drive... I WANT ONE.... ha ha ha.. seriously i fell in love with the car.. hayzzzz problem is... ANG MAHALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.....

[SIZE=3]SINGAPORE[/SIZE] - After the first three months, Singapore's top model among authorised distributors is still Korean but this time, it's a Kia, not a Hyundai. More interestingly, a Mercedes-Benz is the fifth most popular model.
[SIZE=3]The Kia Cerato Forte is now No 1. Since this pretty 1.6-litre sedan's debut in late January 2009, its looks and affordability have allowed it to race up the charts with 826 units delivered in the first quarter of 2010.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]The Cerato Forte had ended 2009 as the third most popular model among authorised distributors, after the top model Hyundai Avante and runner-up Toyota Corolla Altis.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]With the Kia's strong performance from January to March 2010, however, the Avante is now No 2 and the Altis No 3.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]But for Cycle & Carriage Kia senior manager Chin Kee Min, the big surprise is the Kia Koup, the coupe version of the Cerato Forte. The Koup is entering the Top 10 with an enviable No 5 year-to-date ranking (417 units). Amazingly, half of that number was delivered in March alone.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]'The Koup is really a surprise,' said Mr Chin. 'But I suppose that as a 1.6-litre two-door model, there is no competition.'[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]He said the Koup's success shows that there is a demand for a coupe if its price is accessible.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]'Many people still aspire to own a lifestyle car,' he added.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]The strikingly styled Koup is also available with a 2.0-litre engine but the 1.6-litre variant accounts for virtually all sales.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Together, the Cerato Forte and the Koup make up a whopping 91.5 per cent of Kia's Q1 registrations.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]In general, the Top 10 list of models has been jumbled up more than the balls in a Toto draw. The Honda nameplate has disappeared from the ranking altogether. The once popular Civic has dropped out as its list prices started soaring.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]So has the Nissan Latio, although it has been replaced by another Nissan, the Sylphy (391 units).[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Instead, the Mazda3 has come from nowhere to park in the No 4 spot. The attractively priced model is the highest-placed Japanese car on the list.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Another novel entry is the E-Class at No 5. This is despite the luxury model from the brand with the three-pointed star costing three times more than the top model.[/SIZE]

Minsan, nakapasok ako sa KiaForum-Singapore at marami umaangal sa slow response ng kanilang AC sa Forte nila.....then nakita nila ang isang bagay na sa palagay nila na yun ang problema....

Yung mga AC pipes sa engine bay ay walang insulation....

kaya nagdecide sila na mag-DIY....at effective naman....

ganun ang ginawa ko sa kotse ko kahapon at maramdaman mo ang kaibahan....

di lang sa Forte ito applicable, kahit anong brand ng sasakyan....check nyo AC pipes nyo sa engine bay kung may insulation o wala....

Sa DIY sa insulation ng ac pipes nya, halos lahat ng brand ng kotse ay dapat i-apply yun.....di ko maipost dito bro, kunan ko pa ng picture...pero if you have ample time, i-ggole mo lang car ac insulation, maraming link dun, iba iba brand name ng sasakyan....kaya kung ang Tucson mo ay di pa insulated, better do it bro, makakatipid ka pa sa Fuel, kasi di msyadong hirap ang ac compressor....

sorry broSG, if me time ka, yung makita mong Kia Cerato ebony black sa site ng Kia, yun na yun....magz ko nga lang ay 16inch at ang makina nya ay 1.6liters lang....ang pinakagusto ko ay yung start button siya at auto ang AC system........

hamo at kapag me time i-post ko din picture ng ride ko....
