June 10th, 2008 08:10 AM #6[quote=CRDIvgt;1087050]Ako I'm using a Petron. My observation is Petron has more power and economical. While Shell, my engine runs quieter but less power. Even Kia's oil is a petron so maybe they designed the engine for petron products... that's my speculation.[/quot
So, petron pala ang oil na ginagamit ng Kia...I forgot kasi what they put on mine but last 5k pms change oil madumi na..so I was force to change it at 9kpms. I went to helix center for change oil. Now I'm nearing 15kpms, malinis pa rin ang langis.
Shell is the most preferred petroleum brand in the country and the world that is why I'm using Shell Diesel. With it Economy wise, I reach 22k/l. Power wise, I reach 195k/h.

Thanks sir crdivgt and magnusthegreat for the feedback
, Yes, kia use petrons motor oil, i saw it when i had my 1000km pms, but on my 5000km pms they use castrol diesel oil on my kia carens. So its not true that shell diesel is the most dirtiest fuel of the 3 big fuel company???

June 10th, 2008 09:34 AM #9For me, depende sa gas station. If the dealers don't maintain thier underground tank properly, then there's the problem. Pwedeng me water, rust and other dirt.
Here is one thing to remember...Make sure not to pump gas when you see a delivery truck despensing at the site. Let the product settle down first before you gas up.

Natawa ako sa LAHAT ng posts ninyo, wondering where I was!
Hehehe... Sir Bogart and Vinrem was sort-of-right... I took my family out for a nearby out-of-town daytrip to Island Cove in Cavite last Sunday... Yun lang naman... on the other days, we went to the usual places like Megamall and other places around the Metro... still getting the feel (and smell) of a brand new car!
Oh, bro JuneT, yes that was my ride that you saw when you went to Kia Pasig!
Anyhow, enough of the talk... here are some pics of my new Carens:
More pics on my next post (in a few minutes!)...
