Crosswind XUV/AT -- wala pa 5k mileage.

went to baguio over the weekend with 5 adult passengers (incl driver). max speed ko is onky 120kph (return trip at SCTEX). Floored na gas pedal at kg may iangat pa needle konti na lg din.

pano kaya mapabilis pa to at least 130kph? lagi akong antay ng mga kasamahan ko lalo na pag nag-overtak-an na sila sa mga trucks . medyo kelanga mahabang take-off landing for XUV.

on the the positive, am very happy with the ride comfort. not bouncy at all. hatak sa steep, abrupt and wicket-turn inclines is also impressive. there were several approaching the Lion head and along Baguio-Asin route. at one time, tumigil ang traffic at naipit ako sa steep, turning spot -- A/T D held on at sisiw ang pag hatak pa din.

I may have to increase rear tire pressure kasi parang mag-float/glide yg front ng XUV kapag mapabilis at mahangin pa.

with the xuv having a heavy body and still partnered with an automatic transmission you shouldn't expect more with the 120kph max speed that you are getting.

Your top speed can go up a little if you floor the gas a lil' bit more and by increasing your tire pressure plus, removing useless things in your car that could add to the heavy weight of your XUV.

Performance mods could help but I`m really not familiar on the add-ons that can be installed in crosswinds.

Actually, to go faster in an automatic XUV, don't floor the gas. 3/4 is good enough for gradual acceleration. Flooring the accelerator doesn't do any good. I've done 130km/h easily in an automatic XTRM without passengers, and dad's XUV did 130km/h with 4 passengers.

mine is a '09 xuv m/t, 7k kilometer reading-did 140kph once and 130 once in a while.
for me, mas better ang handling pag top speed, mejo maingay lang.

yon sa akin may 5 passenger pa sakay 120kph ok naman parang may ibubuha. i tried it also in Bohol inikot naming bohol at 110kph with 4psnger smooth naman yon tako namin.

before the max speed of my isuzu TFR 4JA1 is only up to 120no matter how i tried...but when i change my engine to 4GJ2 my max speed is 140+...

Im planning to buy Sportivo but after i read this thread i found out na medyo mabagal pala or mababa top speed ng crosswind. ganto din po ba sa ibang SUV like Adventure? parang pag naka 140kph ka e pwede ka na magcelebrate.

actually its Isuzu Panther of Indonesia.. but it is known here as Isuzu Crosswind..

GOES FOR ABOUT 160KPH AND STILL CAN GO TO 180KPH!! AMAZING!!

IMO it can't go past 160. Just a little more past that, and the engine will come off loose out of the vibration. I tried 130 and it was dangerously unstable.

yup 120 nga sa SCLEX nakakatakot na ingay and vibration ng engine hahaha. kaya ng 120 pero 100 ok na.
