Those features would significantly add to the sticker price, and they will no longer be attractive for their intended target market i.e. people who want their vehicles to do double-duty as family car and business workhorse.
If the Adventure range already offered airbags and ABS at the time I was purchasing one, baka nauwi na lang ako sa Suzuki Alto.

That's funny. The top-end Crosswind is priced right at the Innova V's range.
LCD TVs over ABS anyone?

Its odd that even without safety features, the Crosswind Sportivo is already expensive.
Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo AT: P1.22M (no airbags, no ABS)
Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo MT: P1.155M (no airbags, no ABS
Toyota Innova 2.5V dsl AT: P1.195M (with dual-airbags and ABS)
Toyota Innova 2.0V AT: P1.14M (with dual-airbags and ABS)
Toyota Innova 2.5E dsl AT: P1.033M (with driver's airbag and ABS)
Toyota Innova 2.5E dsl MT: P968K (with driver's airbag and ABS)
Toyota Innova 2.0E AT: P978K (with driver's airbag and ABS)
Toyota Innova 2.0E AT: P913K (with driver's airbag and ABS)
Suzuki APV 1.6 SGX AT: P810K (with dual-airbags and ABS)
Suzuki APV 1.6 SGX MT: P775K (with dual-airbags and ABS)
It looks like Isuzu opted to load the Crosswind with bling-bling accessories (like the ones you can buy at Banawe?) instead of safety features.Last edited by AG4; October 24th, 2010 at 03:50 AM.

kanya kanyang priorities lang naman yan. If you want a no-frills, utilitarian workhorse, then the crosswind is for you. but if you want the airbags and abs more, but are willing to take on the added maintenance costs of a crdi(not to mention choking problems), then the Innoa is for you. for me though, the bang for the buck would be the Xti crosswind not the sportio. At a lower price you get the same Isuzu reliability minus the added gizmos

speaking of palinis ng tambutso,
kaso panget itsura e. hahahah.
