I am planning to buy an SUV/AUV and one of mga possible choices is the Isuzu Crosswind kasi mura sya compared to hyundai tucson toyota forttunner honda crv. Tapos matibay daw sya? and tipid?

pero mahirap daw maneho ung crosswind
Btw first time driver lng ako... :D

Hmmm, I don't believe na mahirap i-maneho yung Crosswind.

Anyway, pros of a Crosswind/Sportivo: (not necessarily that others do not manifest the same PROs)

1) Durable
2) Fuel Efficient (FE vary depending on driving habit, road condition, condition of vehicle, traffic, etc)
3) High Resale value
4) Strong Aircon
5) Versatile (paved or rough roads)
6) Easy to maintain (virtually any mechanic can do it's engine being not commonrail)
7) Equipped with a lot of comfort and convenience features (i.e. reverse camera*, NAVI*, DVD/VCD/CD/MP3 player*, dual 7" widescreen, HiRes, headrest monitors*, AV-jack system*)
8) ISUZU

* certain Crosswind variants

Madali rin ang repair at rehabilitation kung na-Ondoy sya since yung engine nya (4JA1) ay purely mechanical at walang halong electronic component. Yung nga lang medyo mahal ang pyesa nya if you need one.

I owned a sportivo 2005,for me,talagang matibay sya,saka pinaka the best yung aircon nya,super lamig,kahit sobrang layo ng byahe and then maiipit pa sa traffic,talagang hindi nagbabago yung lamig ng aircon,di tulad sa mga starex na humihina ang lamig ng aircon pag malayo na biniyahe,kasi na e experience namin sa starex ng ex GF ko...

medyo iwan ka nga lang sa ahon,kasi although malakas makina nya,hindi nya kaya magpa bilis....pero pagdating sa flat road.....mabilis kung sa mabilis...minsan nga may nakahabulan akong strada,hindi umabot yung strada...as per my experience lang naman...camarines norte-manila and VV nga pala madalas kong byahe...

+ positive....

* Fuel efficient (kahit 2nd hand car na or A/T variant.)
* Engine is very durable and easy to maintain.
* Interior spacing "malawak" sa luob.
* A/C the best....
* Tested na sa Super typhoon.
* Malakas sa hatakan at akyatan, mahina lang sa arangkada. (No need to race naman especially kung kasama mo family mo.)
* Matitibay at makakapal ang under chassis.
- negative....

* No air bag.
* Medyo smoky kasi deisel.
* Noisy engine kasi diesel nga! ( it depends nalang sa gamit mong engine oil. Para ma lessen engine noise.)

Aside dito wala na sigurong "majormajor" na problem beside sa mga normal na eencounter nang mga sasakyan.

What will you be using the car for? IMHO if it's not for extremely rugged use there are a lot of other cars out there that are much more civilized than this car.

Or Toyota Innova

Before we bought our Innova my wife test drove the sportivo, Innova and Carens at and pinaka di niya nagustuhan sa Sprotivo is yung engine noise and medyo mabigat i-drive. The Carens is like car drive, very easy and comfortable, yun nga lang nung time na yun is walang EX variant so we opted for the Innova, no regrets
