saka very comfortable dahil kahit gaano kalayo byahe,di sumusuko yung lamig ng aircon...

    another satisfied xwind/sportivo owner po...
Exactly my sentiments. Bullseye kayo bro. Been and isuzu owner since college days. Last year I was put into a situation where I have to fetch my wife sa airport at 9 pm. The entire Sucat road was flooded and I chose to bring my sportivo instead of my 1 year old 4x4 other brand pick-up. I know the pick-up will make the trip as well pero yung isuzu pa din ginamit ko. Iba talaga yung trusted mo na e.

its nice to know sir that we look at it the same way. naniniwala ako na marami pa sa forumers dito ang tulad natin ang views. marami akong friends who try to convince me to sell my xuv (kasi pang karaniwan daw ito) and buy a montero or fortuner para my "representation".
ang lagi kong sagot, pag nakagamit ka ng crosswind, wala ka nang ibang sasakyan pa na magagamit at papasa sa iyo in terms of practicality and usefulness. hahahaha.
maybe someday, i'll buy for "representation" but i'll always have a practical and useful vehicle in my garage. and that will be an xuv. or ibenta ko man xuv ko, i will just upgrade to sportivo.
    +10 ako sa yo sir.

    hahaha.
i know what you mean blue_gambit.
pero put some traffic on the road and the equation changes, technique comes to play.

at the risk of converting this forum into a mutual admiration society, + 20 po ako sa inyo sir garfield.

and +100 to all crosswind owners who drive and use their rides to the fullest and yet respect its limits.

    yes sir.
also have a 3 door pajero and my wife has a 5 door pajero. sabi ko nga kung gusto ko na feeling pogi (feeling lang) ang dating, pajero gagamitin ko.

like you sir pol, i trust my crosswind

here is my take on the xti vs. xuv dillema:
kung kaya rin lang ng budget xuv ka na. you get the added height for flood and rough road crossings and the added porma/tougher look.

no offense to the xti, it is also capable. i have an xuv now, but when means allow me to do so, i would like to buy an xti for those times na long drive lang on good roads (like trip to subic).

if you will only use it on good roads (although imposible yata ito) the xti gives you the advantage of lower stance and therefore more stability than the xuv, and beter fuel economy due to smaller tires and lower wind resistance compared to xuv.

Hi fabilioh and to all SUV owners,

    thanks to all your views.

Actually first choice ko is xti but my father in law mas prefer nya xuv. He doesn't know that ang makina of both are the same lang kaya nagtaka sya na xti ang 1st option ko.. pero may rebuttal sya, "di ka naman siguro nag 120kph sa mga curve pag kasama mo mga apo ko?". Natawa tuloy ako. Samantalang mas kaskasero yun kaysa akin.

like other crosswind owners ayoko rin kasi ng maraming sakit ng ulo in terms of maintenance. plain, simple, old but reliable engine lang.. di ko akalain one month na pala ako nagsesearch what to buy dito sa tsikot. lurker na.

hinihintay ko lang ang new stock ng suv na darating maybe for test drive for suv.
