Innova na... Gagaling mo lang sa Crosswind bibili ka ulit ng Crosswind? Innova nalang for a faster and more comfortable means of transportation.

If you're planning to get a MT, low charged turbo na yun since 2001. If AT, started '08 ata. As for the power sideview mirror fold, Since '06 or '07 ata. So it's safe if you get a '08 at tiyak, covered yung 2 hinahanap mo.

As to whether Sportivo or Innova, it would really depend on what you're after in a vehicle. Both have diesel and can load up to 7-8 pax. Innova would be faster and a "quieter" engine but would not provide the "SUV" look/feel you're after.

Good luck on your decision. Eitherway, you're a winner.

may nakita akong 700k 2006 innova G 33k mileage at 800k 2007 sportivo 11k mileage. which is which????? so confuse!!!!!!!!

    more advice pa po...

If you're not exactly after speed and with that comparison, I'd go for the Sportivo. With spec/features you have already enumerated + 1 year newer, lower mileage (just make sure it has CASA maintenance records) and higher resale value, I'd say you have an edge with the Sportivo.

It's the other way around... the AT has been low-charge turbo since 01, the MT since around 08.

Personally, the turbo really isn't a deal-breaker. Hanep pa rin na bagal ang turbo na Crosswind. But if you can get the other features on a secondhand Sportivo for a cheap price, okay na yun.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

AFAIK yung low charge turbo inilagay para lang makaabot ng Euro 2 emission standard. Hindi naman SUV yung Crosswind eh, mukhang SUV lang. Kahit yung 1st generation na locally sold Pajero may mas superior na chassis along with turbocharged (with a properly sized turbo) and intercooled 4D56 engine. If I had no choice but to get a Crosswind, I'd extensively modify it. I'd throw in a big turbo and intercooler, Unichip installation and everything. Otherwise, I'd just get an Innova, which can actually be had for a lower price and yet give good performance and fuel economy.

Can you really put an after market turbo and intercooler on a non-turbo crosswind? Can you explain? what's a unichip installation?

Mine, is non-turbo, im just thinking putting turbo would add significant increase in hp.

I'm sure you can. I've heard of someone from abroad who had his Crosswind installed with a turbo from a Fuso truck and an intercooler from a Skyline (tama ba ako?) and posted the acceleration video on Youtube. The Unichip is a piggyback ECU which optimizes engine power and fuel efficiency. It works best with turbocharged cars (properly turbochrged ah, di yung LOW charge ) It can get more or less 20-30hp more out of your engine. With normally aspirated cars, 5-15hp increase is the norm. If I'm not mistaken, niky has one installed in his Crosswind.

The Unichip won't work if the car has no ECU. The Crosswind has a mechanical injection pump.

Installing a stock Crosswind turbo won't do anything for you. Turbo Crosswinds are still very slow. You'll want an aftermarket turbo, and you'll want to go to a pump specialist to retune your fuel system for it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
