Trooper 4JG2 help please

Mahal pala magpa facelift. Magkano po 3rd row seat sa likod? Saw a trooper for sale without one.

I called walco. Sabi nila yung unang labas daw na 4jx1 di daw sirain - yung mga 2000-2001. Totoo po ba iyan?

Is it true besco oil lang pwede sa 4jx1? 10-12km/l daw sa city? Totoo po ba yan?

afaik, wala sa labas. tsambahan talaga. yung kay benzmizer wala naman problema pero late model.

Guys please help me on this:

2000 Trooper 4jx1 matic 4x4 200tkm for P410k company owned - here are the problems:

orig paint pero hilamusin na
basag na signal light
basag na rear bumper light
sirang cv joints sa harap
missing 3rd row seats
kulang na window plastic vent dun sa last window sa 3rd row seat
konting usok pero hindi pa pusit

other points:

interior 90% ok
dual aircon ok
engine - i cant comment as that is a 4jx1 engine but was running fast and well
suspension seems ok
tranny seems ok
grey interior and no wood trim
new a/t tires
working 4x4
all power features working
quiet ride

Wala ako problem mag hilamos as i do it as a hobby so my guys can do it well and cheap and bring it back to original. Am just curious lang if it will be worth it. Ill probably spend around p30k-p35k for everything except the 3rd row seats which i have no idea where to get and for how much.

What do you think? I test drove a 4jg2 today mejo malayo power but it doesnt really matter to me. Di naman ako parati humahataw. Parang td42 patrol pala feel ng 4jg2. Yung 4jx1 parang gas powered. Nakakatakot lang talaga bumili ng 4jx1 - sirain na mahal pa maintenance.

Euro version, Limited edition yan. There are some variations sa usual trooper accessories.

Honestly,
If M/T and matawaran much more, risk it. Those signal lights and bumber light are not common and may not be in stock, since euroversion.
At 200,000 mileage, 4 major things will fail. Engine, automatic transmission, turbo and alternator. Hindi pwedeng replacement parts, oil, oil filters and sensors etc for 4JX1 engines.

Very risky for me, personally I wouldn't buy a company car since personal care wasn't exercised and at 200K (via company driver albeit) on the odo wear and tear on the internals cant be checked unless you dismantle the unit. The broken lights and missing seats are red flags on my book as to how carefully driven it was. no gamble sorry

wont go for it. baka dun lang sa rear bumper light makalahati na yang extra budget mo dahil halos wala kang makukuhang surplus. casa lang yan at baka by order pa since 2001 pa yata lumabas ang huling euro version. para sakin lang to ha. kasi kung ako nasa position mo, dapat meron na kong emergency fund to buy a 4jg2 engine in case magloko yung 4jx1. yung barkada ko nabenta yung makina nyang 4jx1(di na mapatino) ng 20thou yata. so compute ka konti to kung hangang saan budget mo.hth

Thank you sa mga response sir. Sayang. Pasok pa naman sa budget. Pero di bale na. Ayoko makabili ng alkansya. I guess the 99 4jg2 is my only option then for the new body. Last option ko 97 or 98 na body - mas madami siguro surplus parts yun sa banawe pero hanap pa rin ako 99. Sana maka chamba.

Thats a reasonable price. I better wait then. You know i told them i wasnt going to get the 4jx1 anymore and the agent told me pinagiisipan na daw sa P390k. I wont rush na. Ill take your advise and wait it out. I just hope i get a good one. Is there a trooper club, by the way?

Sir, kasya po ba 4jh1 sa trooper? Mas matipid daw sa diesel ito at 10km/l vs 6km/l ng 4jg2. Halos pareho lang naman hp and torque sa 4jg2. Alin po mas mura parts kaya? Alin po mas marami surplus? May idea po kayo magkano 4jh1 & 4jg2 surplus engine?

4JH1 is a commercial engine, mostly delivery trucks. I think more torque and less speed ang design nito. Mass maingay pa ito sa maingay na na 4JG2. Direct Injection engines are much efficient 4Jg2 is indirect injection. Hindi kaya 4hh1 ng Dmax ang naiisip mo.

Yung pang dmax nga. Kala ko 4jh1 dmax. Mura lang ba 4hh1? Ano pa murang options sa engine swap? Parang malakas kasi sa diesel ang 4jg2.
