Recommended Shocks for Isuzu Trooper LS 1997

Good day gentlemen.
Can anyone advice me on what type and brand to use for my Trooper local 1997 3.1D.
I don't use it very often on off roads, just for city driving and occassionally out of town.
I would like to have a good shock that will give me good handling and good ride.
Please indicate the Brand, Type, Price and where to get it and contact number if possible.

i would suggest Bilstein. medyo pricey lang ng konti (around 25thou for the four). Kyb gas a just is around 4thou plus for the four.

if you intend to get KYB gas a just, i have a set of four used for almost 3 mos only. PM me if interested.

Dyan ako bumili ng front ko kasi yung rear ko KYB gas a just. Pero its better you buy both Excel G medyo soft ride mo.


Bilstein okay kaso mahal pang offroad talaga medyo overkill tayo sa price kung pang on road lang. Depend if you have budget. Pero may next project for my shock and coil spring Old Man EMU http://www.rocky-road.com/trooper.html
4 shocks complete including the coil spring para maenjoy yung 1.25" lift. Kabbili ko lang kasi ng KYB kaya baka 2 years pa yang project na yan cost 500USD din kasi hehehe.

bro may 2003 skyroof po ako. wala pa pong upgrades or mods sa trooper ko.

tanong ko lang po tungkol sa shox, ano po tong gas a just at excel g? both
KYB brand or different animal? which one do you suggest has a better ride? city driving lang po ako at minsan out of town din. not for full off roading po.

Got myself 4 Gas-A-Just from sir Edwin and hopefully get it installed in the coming days.
I can report on the new shocks but will as my wife on the feeling for the new shocks as she is the one using it there in the Philippines.
Hopefully everythng goes well as I still have some leaks under observation in the transfercase area.

I will soon report what happened.

I can report on the new shocks but will as my wife on the feeling for the new shocks as she is the one using it there in the Philippines.

maraming salamat po sa reply bro. any idea about chromed rims and tires na malaki na pwede sa trooper? heard from my friends na hanggang 20 lang po ang pwede. yung 22 sasayad na raw po sa fenders. tama po ba?

2ndly, yung sa post nyo po above na shock and coil spring na Old Man EMU meron po yan dito sa tin?

bro same KYB yung Excel G medyo soft ride yun ata ang OE ng trooper color black yung gas a-just naman color grey. mahal lang ng 100 pesos ang Excel G. if im remember 1.2K where yung gas a-just 1.1K kasi doon ako mismo sa direct dealer na post ko above yung contact address.
