    thanks guys for your support..

ill be updating you soon on any updates..
im still pushing with DTI on my complaints..wala parin akong definite actions for the next week.

just incase i am not satisfied with DTI and isuzu, i will let you know the schedule when the congress will summon isuzu to congress.

i wonder what anak bayan, and the leftists would do if they knew that even the japanese automakers are cheating filipinos of their hard earned money...
    clearly a dumping issue....

its happening before the session ends.. on feb10...

then probably the formal case will be filed in court maybe first week of february...

i think there's going to be a lot fireworks...
im sure some tv networks like imbestigador will be interested to feature this....wow sarap...

then ill make some moves to have it featured in CNN...or some international news agency....

    any suggestions?

Di po ba si rey langit is an avid fan and owner of an isuzu trooper? I recalled long ago i saw him endorsed the trooper on tv. Maybe he can help.

    From consumer.org in New Zealand:
Isuzu Bighorn, MU and Wizard Vehicles
    7-Feb-2005
    The problem
The injector sleeve sealing (O-rings) material can deteriorate and cause fuel to leak into the crankcase. This may result in an unintentional increase in engine speed and possibly vehicle speed.
    Details
1998 - 2000 Model Year 4JX1-TC diesel engines built BEFORE ENGINE NUMBER 676517 and fitted to Isuzu Bighorn, Trooper and Wizard four wheel drives.
The range of affected vehicles is shown in the following table:
MakeModelModel codeChassis number rangeIsuzuBighornKH-UBS73DWUBS73DW-7200006 to 7200275IsuzuBighornKH-UBS73GWUBS73GW-7200038 to 7210744IsuzuWizardKH-UES73FWUES73FW-4100080 to 4114665IsuzuMUKH-UES73EWUES73EW-4100076 to 4114528The chassis number can be found on the manufacturer's plate attached to the engine bulkhead/firewall, or on the chassis behind the right rear wheel.
    What to do
Owners of vehicles bought new in New Zealand should have been contacted by Holden New Zealand in 2004 to have their vehicles reworked. If you have not received a letter, contact your local Holden dealer.
If your vehicle is affected, email myorston*imvda.co.nz, quoting the chassis number of your vehicle, and giving your name and address. You will be contacted by mail as soon as possible, with information on how to get your vehicle fixed.
    About this recall
The Independent Motor Vehicle Dealers Association (IMVDA) of New Zealand has worked with ISUZU Motors of Japan to procure the parts necessary for this recall.
The parts will be supplied free of charge, but the IMVDA says it is not responsible for any of the costs involved in making the repair.

Here's another info on what's goin on outside our beloved Isuzu Phil..

    A post from 4X4 forums at 4X4UK.org (jan 8, 2007) :

    Subject: 3.0DT 4JX1 Engine Problems?
    posted on 8-1-2007 at 19:07

    3.0DT 4JX1 Engine Problems?

    Hi Guys,

Just a little handy info for any troubled 3.0DT owners out there...

If your motor suffers from the dreaded "diesel in oil" problem you need to contact Isuzu UK and they should arrange for your motor to be fixed regardless of age or mileage! because of the problems suffered by a high number of owners Isuzu are now accepting responsibility for the engine problems and fixing them under warranty.

If you are concerned about your motor needing recalls try phoning Isuzu UK (with chassis number & reg plate handy) and they will let you know if your motor needs any recall work. Currently the 3.0 motors are being recalled (regardless of age/mileage) for new Injectors and a mod to the Ceramic Heater in the dash. If you have not had a letter give them a call!

    Isuzu's details...

*Note that 'Bighorn' in japan are badged as 'trooper' here in the philippines.

now he's experiencing revolution problems.. so he's planning of selling the trooper before the engine dies

This is all about knowing our rights and protection as consumers. I can't swallow the thought of spending 80K-150K for an inherent factory defect that is not our fault or negligence, while other owners from abroad are being compensated free of charge. Even though taga Mindanao (Iligan) lang ako, but there's a substantial number of trooper owners here, and i'm one of them.

yuppppp...... bought the unit brand new... followed all the pms sched.... used their oil, lubricants, water, coolant, filters and you name it. its all recorded in the service record. you can also see in the record that there had been two injector replacements and a third injector defect in two years. funny how they try to try to try to avoid the injector issue by going around the usual "depende sa gamit sir, ganun talaga minsan nangyayari ang ganun"
what is really sad, and i feel for them... much more than us isuzu owners are the dealers.... really sad because sila ang naka front and sumasalo ng galit and complaints ng mga owners....

as said in the papers... from tabloids to radio interviews and now broadsheets tribune and bulletin....this is an issue of national interest.

my friends here, please do not fight with the dealers, they are not at fault for selling substandard vehicles... they did not know all the facts when it was sold here. mga agents lang sila... likewise do not fight against the customer service people.... they also did not know....

i hope all the people reading this thread now know for a fact that all my accusations against isuzu philippines are true.

thanks for your support mga pare...isuzu owners....

my campaign is simple. isuszu is a great multinational company with global interests. they have the best diesel engine all over the world or they claim. worldwide they are known. sikat sila. that is why they have to protect their image overseas or else they get sued.

in case lang... and im not saying that it is isuzu.....
if a car manufacturer imposed a policy of having a recall in four countries including their home country ......becoz of a defect ......and did not issue a recall in the philipines.... how would you feel? im not saying that it is isuzu.....

would you still buy from that manufacturer knowing that this policy is a direct form of disrespect against the filipinos? in case you do not think this is disrespect... what do you think this act shows on the side of manufacturer?

issuing a recall is a form of corporate responsibility. it shows respect for the buyers in the hope of boing more business in the host country.
by avoiding the recall, they make more money buy selling defective vehicles which they cannot sell in developed countries.

another issue is economic sabotage... the financial resources used to repair the defective vehicle can be used to finance projects which could create more employment or improve our quality of life.

maybe i will write a book.....
