For me wala na talagang improvement ang ISUZU PHIL, lalo na sa engines nila.
ISUZU TODAY SUCKS LIKE A JURASSIC TRUCKS!!!

When I bought my Alterra, I have not really made any in depth research. All I know is that Isuzu engines have the reputation of being reliable and fuel efficient. And these are still true.

However, there are lots of things that other car models have that I wished I also have in my Alterra. Namely:

Audio control on the steering wheel
Automatic scroll up of power windows
Alarm (I can have installed, at my own cost).

And of course, if you compare the power and torque of the engines, Isuzu is way down the list (except for those Alterra in Thailand and Australia - and this is even more annoying for me).

When it is time to replace my Alterra, I will probably go for Santa Fe.

Improvement - meron naman, aesthetics usually. :hysterical:

Sucks? I beg to disagree. ;) Though their engines are slow, jurassic and noisy. They are still damn durable.

You can have the option to not buy an Isuzu if you're after for speed. There are other diesel-fed engines that can supply your thirst for it. You buy an Isuzu because you want to be assured that your car will run even on very dirty diesels.

    I'm talking about the Crosswind.

The Alterra uses a more complex engine.

Not many would buy the Alterra anyway. Expensive. Looks like a hearse. & doesn't give any wowing features.

what can you say about ISUZU PHIL. TODAY?

laking tulong sa mga filipino sa labor, locally assemble na ang engine ng crosswind and D-max sa planta sa binan, laguna, japan and thailand parts, tsunami sa japan stop production, then baha naman sa thailand stop production again.

In reality pag bumili ka ng Isuzu product or kahit ibang brand pag ginamit mo nayan wala na silang pakialam diyan ikaw na ang mangangalaga diyan, bihira naman yun nasisira during the warranty period, pag ibinangga mo matutuwa pa ang dealer kasi my gagawin na sila magbabayad ka ng participation fee, kung my comprehensive insurance ka...

Isuzu are tough and durable but outdated and overpriced because technology wise they are becoming inferior year-on-year esp sa engine. They need to bring their good stuff here.

For me, I still patronize Isuzu products. Sometimes "beauty'" is unseen. It could be deep within. The price , no comments, its warranted. Designing precision components to achieve durability, longevity and performance is no cheap approach. Because Isuzu cares...as I said, kahit commented as "old school, old design" hanga pa rin ako! Yet, kahit ganun ang products nila..macho pa rin ang dating. Finally , ISUZU PHIL today never changed the engineered-class image since day one!
