"Nissin"? Kidding aside, is your Trooper a converted unit? I have heard somewhere before that some of the folks who do conversion sometimes do this as quick repairs.

good pm. my trooper is local 1999 model i bought four months ago i really love to own one kaya nabili ko ito. ano po ba talaga ang dapat na tatak ng alternator ko since sabi sa kasa yon daw talaga brand ng alternator used in trooper sa kanila po kasi din galing ito. if not i plan to place an original pag my budget na ako sir do you have any idea how will it cost me for brand new and surplus

finished repairing the leaking alternator. oil leak was not cuased by a defective oil seal. but it was leaking between the vacum pump and alternator. but what was challengine was to remove the alternator. super hirap. kailangan tanggal and a/c compressor muna. one less leak down and one to go:-)

next on the list is to have all the power windows cleaned and serviced.

as far as i know nissin ay makers ng mga car parts(nissin is from japan)...try mo po magtanong ng original na alternator sa banawe may tatak na nissin ang karton nun...

Katatapos ko lang ng PMS for 50k (change oil, filters, check brakes) - Isuzu Q. Ave., tapos ang sabi sakin malapit na maupod yung brake pads ko (more or less 1 month na lang daw)....

Magkano po ba ang brake pads ng Trooper? Ang sabi kasi skin, 8k daw yun kasama po yung labor, mura na po ba yun?

sir as far as a i could recall , wala po surplus ang parts ng 4xj1 ng trooper only the 4jg2 since its been used nga matagal ang almost every model ng isuzu gumamit nyan.. the 4jx1 was just limited to the trooper.. maybe you could buy outside sa pinas.. whats wroing with your unit dat it requires a new injection pump?

I'm using bendix brand brake pads. cost around 1200 + labor around 400.

Mga 3k front and rear na yun. bendix brand. Ok naman. Sa akin tumatagal ng mga 6 months or 7-8 KMS.

mga sirs,yung trooper namin 75000 kms na ang odo. medyo iba na ang takbo ng suspension nya (nakakargahan kasi ng mabibigat paminsan minsan). do you think kelangan na palitan ang shocks? medyo bouncy na kasi ang ride. mapapnsin 'to lalo na sa humps. TIA

San po nakakabili ng bendix na brake pads? at san po maganda mag pakabit nito? OK lang po ba na sa labas bumili at sa casa mag pakabit?

Share lang ng experience ko. Pinapalit namin yung brakes some years ago sa A1 in Del Monte Ave.Bendix yung rear brakes namin, Yamamoto yung harap. Nung una ang ingay ingay ng rear brakes! Ang daming ginawa dun like cleaning the brakes, etc. Pero ayaw parin umalis. Nung nagtagal unti unti nalang nawala.

Ngayon, we do all maintenance work at Motor Pro at D. Tuazon St. corner Quezon Avenue. I have to say that these guys are really good, they can do anything! I see all sorts of sports cars inside and even Autoindustriya's drift cars!

yes. malanbot na ang shox mo. best to replace them. when we got our trooper. naka kyb gas adjust sya (sabi ng dating mayari lampas 80,000km ang tinakbo na nya sa shox). ok pa naman ang ride. pero plano ko palitan ng monroe magnum pag may budet na ako.

sir good pm may i know what's the brand labeled in your alternator?

the former owner replaced the alternator with a 110 amp. its korean, so i guess it came from a starex.

while i was in blumentritte, i saw a couple of 4jg2 engines. while studying all the rubber tubings and were they lead. i saw that the original alternator was only 60amp.

tumirik ako last sunday the ABS light appeared the mechanic i called asked me to have my alternator checked which i did. to my surprise the my shop where i brought my trooper told me that the alternator fitted is not for isuzu the brand read nissin but the person who sold us this unit says that's the one isuzu used for troopers i'll appreciate any info from you guys. thanks a lot

kung nissan talaga sya. masmadali maghanap ng surplus. baka pwede ang nissan alternator galing nissan urvan. 90amp na say. sabi ng kaibigan ko nasa mga 3.5k-5k and presyo.
