After more than 130k kms, napalitan na ang ball joints, tie rod bar, suspension bushing ng Dmax ko.

About 2 months ago, all my shocks were replaced. Then one evening, when I was parking it, I heard it squeaking. I thought that it can't be those shocks since they are still new. Brought it to the dealership for check up. Then un ang nakita. Total damage was more than 37k pesos.

Ang napansin ko lang na recuring problem ng Dmax ko ay ung tensioner getting loose and causing the engine to producing a whining, buzzing sound. I have posted it here before kung paanon ung sound na un. The good thing is, never nagka aberya ang truck even if that sound is audible. Nakakairita nga lang.

*130k kms. You already replaced Mga pang ilalim mo sir? Isn't it premature?

Yung crosswind Ng friend ko.. 250k plus kms. Wala pang pinalitan sa pang ilalim.. Maliban sa shocks... Pang byahe pa yun..

I don't know what should be the km reading for it to be not premature but the way I used my truck and the roads that it has been through, for OEM suspension system, for me I think it's already reasonable. Those parts that were replaced, pwede pa naman but it's my choice to replace.

It has carried rocks, 6 feet high marble statues, wooden statues, goods, sacks of rice, steel, etc. You name it. Basta lagay lang sa bed lahat. Then ung mga roads that it has been through for more than 7 yrs, from north to south of Luzon, pwede na un. I recall less than 2 wks after purchase, sabak agad siya sa kargahan.

Re: Isuzu foton= based on our experienced with isuzu engines made in China kahit B rating pa Yan... hindi reliable yan, hindi tumatagal... Malayo sa Isuzu na made in Japan...

Foton & Cummins | Foton Global

They produce 2.8 Cummins engines. Google mo, don't pretend you know.

Walang galit. It's the truth. Everyone praises but never nilabas ang baho. If 4ja1 vs 4d56. Mas usok talaga 4ja1 in real world use. Noise and vibrations, talo din 4ja1. Casa maintenance, mas mahal din isuzu vs Mitsubishi.

You see, the problem with your posts is that you always seem like you want to find the negative side of things, in particular, of Isuzu. I still do not understand why so many people are hating on Isuzu, you included. Clearly, the benefits of owning one far overshadow the possible drawbacks.

Also, stop going out of the thread's topic. The 4JA1 is now for the Crosswind, not the D-Max. If you want to rant about the 4JA1, head over to the Crosswind thread and leave us in peace. I bet you will have more fun with their reactions over there. I will not deny that both engines have a greater tendency to belch out smoke. But who ever said that in this case, the 4JA1 is worse? I still see way more 4D56-powered Mitsubishis, even the current Montero Sports, that belch out loads of black smoke. If you claim that the Isuzu belches smoke out more, you better provide us with proof. And I mean do not just send us a link showing how much the Isuzu belches. We want a source that clearly shows a comparison and states/explains why the 4JA1 supposedly belches smoke more than the 4D56. Otherwise, your claims have no merit.

Maintenance wise, they just might be equal when you think about it. Since the 4JA1 uses a timing chain, it does not need to be serviced at around 80k - 100k km, which is the case with the Adventure's 4D56. Yes, Isuzu parts may be more affordable, but with this replacement, they pretty much even out. Adding to that, if you really do your research, the Mitsubishi tends to be less reliable and less powerful than the Isuzu. The first point would equate to more times at the casa/repair shop and higher costs. I am not saying that the Mitsubishi sucks though. It just cannot match up to the Isuzu in this case, aside from cheaper parts.

That is a foton plant... Na naka joint venture sa cummins..
Tama ka Meron palang 2.8li engine Foton cummins engine that come from a foton plant...

Just like Foton ISuzu or Foton Daimler, Or Even Foton Weichai--

Yung planta ngayon ba Should be called cummins plant? Or isuzu plant? Or Daimler plant?

    Or a Foton plant?

Isa sa pinaka malaki is Camda...

Pag dun galing...

Parang joint venture ng ssyangyong and Mercedes Benz.. They made the Mercedes SUV and the M100 van..

    Question Pareho ba ang quality?

Yung isuzu Foton-- Pareho ba ng quality ng isuzu Japan?

I'll search for the proof of authenticity ng Cummins na made in China... It means Subuk, Maganda at quality talaga engine na yun.. Possible din kasi na Yung cylinder head and engine block ng ISF engines galing sa CEC or DCEC cummins.. Then Yung Ibang parts like valves, pistons, camshaft etc, galing naman sa Foton..

Sure quality talaga yun.

Pero kung wala... Quality pa din naman-- Pero not like sa mgA subok na subok na ng engine ng cummins world wide.. Why? Kasi CEC and DCEC cummins plant is known to produce cummins engines that's in accordance with the global quality standards of cummins USA

Hanapin ko Yung proof of authenticity ng cummins China ha.. Then post ko po dito...
