Just browsing sa Isuzu UK site and found out that their top of the line Dmax, which is currently a 2.5L CRDi, is equipped with a Prodrive Performance Pack (just like the Tunit) that boost the torque from 294 to 397 Nm * 3600rpm.
The power is subsequently increased from 136HP to 167HP * 3600rpm.
Being offered as an option in UK, this answers the question about the safety and the long term effect of Tunit chips being used in our rides--its totally safe then, di ba?
As expected, sa Isuzu dealer, the cost of the upgrade chip is 795 pounds while if you order it directly from Tunit, it will only cost about 398 pounds...
...just thinking aloud guys

jubilum,,am using 20's pero ang dahilan talaga sa putol ng lug nuts is overtightening/overpressure of working air to the pneumatic tool nila, have investigated na...
So,,safe ang Tunit, buti na lang naka order ako ng maaga pa at baka mamahal yan kung ioptional accessories ng Isuzu ,, laki tubo nila,,

guys what are the bad effects kung di nagparepack ng wheel bearing?

I think the worst thing that could happen if you have damaged wheel bearings is for the tire(s) to wobble kasi baka ma misalign.

Tuning chip technology has been around for quite awhile already. If I remember correctly around 10 years(?) ago, some Chevrolet variants had aftermarket tune chips available as no hassle, plug-in type upgrades that had zero negative effects on the engine. In the diesel category, I believe it was the Iveco truck company that had chip upgrades for their turbo diesel engines which was featured in their around the world trek some years back.
If I had the spare cash (and the wife's approval hehe) I'd get a chip upgrade for mine. I guess the only negative I foresee with this upgrade are smoked tiresLast edited by Memphis Raines; November 15th, 2007 at 01:07 PM.

guys, pwede naman mag pneumatic but what the technician could do is kamay muna gamitin para maka screw ng kahit almost half ang nut or bolt then they could use the pneumatic... what makes the bolt loose thread is that they use the pneumatic kaagad pag tighten ng nut or bolt... kung casa training kc is ganun.. kamay muna gamitin b4 the pneumatic... but minsan nakakalimutan din.. info lang para ma aware naman tayo db? hehehe... and dont worry about those wheel bearing being torque sa pneumatic.. hindi yan mahgpit tlaga kc masisira din ang spindle... and the cuase ng bearing failure talaga is those speeding over potholes and bumps... and not being checked regularly like the 20,000kms PMS... loos thread or bearing dmage is not caused by big rims also... kung makita nyo ang bearing ngayon lalo na sa dmax and alterra, malalaki na sila kc deisgn yan ng 4x4 na but wiht out the front locks.... so matibay din yan and kung meron man kayong wabble na ma experince sa ride nyo.. better have it checked ASAP.. mayeb its the bearing or sometimes the tir rod end...
wala nga prob ang rides naitn kc wala naman reklamo sa thread na eto.. hehehe.....o diba???
