Paulchua,
Rest assured that I am on the same side with you in this fight as I know very well that the jx1 problem realy exists and as usual the manufacturer, in this case IPC, hopes to get away with it making the clients suffer.
However I do not want to mislead readers by generalizing the jx1 trooper, jg2 trooper, the Dmax, and the Alterra. not that the current models of Isuzu are perfect and problem-free but these models have been out for quite some time now and no such problems like that in the Jx1 trooper are evident (except for Wildthing's case which I think is an isolated one..but nonetheless should not be ignored).
We share the same sentiments and as a fellow Isuzu owner, I know how dealers suck big time. Please do keep us posted. I'm sure more Jx1 owners out there are willing to help you in your case. I for one offer whatever help I can give to you since this is not only your fight, not only the Isuzu owner's but also the rest of the consumers out there who got a lemon. i hope that this fight of yours change the way how dealers deal with their clients and customers in the future.Last edited by Djerms; December 18th, 2006 at 10:32 PM.

December 19th, 2006 05:14 AM #2109 kung kukuha ka ng DMAX don't hesitate sa LS model...kung kaya nga ng budget go for the 4x4. But if hindi mo naman ipapang-off-road you're better off with the 4x2 LS.
Medyo marami na masyadong difference ang 4x2 LX and LS model and with the small amount of price difference, mas sulit yung LS model.

Wildthing,
Diba you also have an LS Dmax aside from your LX? Any difference in the ride and engine performance?

December 20th, 2006 10:06 AM #4LS & LX Parehas lang....acceleration, max speed, stability on high speed (160kph+), riding comfort and porma/stance.
Hindi ko naitest sa hard braking...kung gaano kabilis mag-lock-up ang preno ng LX....sa LS, okay na okay ang ABS sa akin...alam kong gumagana. Hindi ako takot mag-hard brake sa LS ko. I remember nuon, using a frontier, nag-lock-up preno ko sa hard braking while I was on 150kph....scary...ayokong subukan sa dmax LX...hehehe.
Yun new release ng LX, nakahiwalay na ang switch ng fog lamps...wala na sa lever ng ilaw.

Wildthing,
So sa safety department lang pala talaga nagkaiba. I was expecting na may kaunting pagkakaiba sa ride comfort being a locally assembled unit ang LS.
IMO talagang sulit ang ABS. Give you straight line stopping when needed the most.

December 20th, 2006 09:30 PM #6Very sulit ang ABS...I tend to drive hard and fast and I can really feel the ease and convenience of an ABS. I can do late brakes than with a non-ABS equipt ride without worrying that I'll hit anything.
If there's anything na ayaw ko lang itest ay ang airbag.
Sa newer release LX, lumalaki na ang difference nito sa LS model pero it seems mostly aesthetics lang and difference and the ABS and airbag.
minsan naisip ko... is it really realistic to have a subway na project lang ng isang city? in this...
Makati Subway. Completion date: 2025
