Isuzu Crosswind XUV/XUVi Owners

Hi guys, since this is a crosswind thread. Wanna ask where could I look for 2nd hand crosswind XT for 350K. I tried to look around pero all I saw being sold were XTO version and I cannot afford them. They go around 400-500K. Its my 1st time to buy a car, so your suggestions are all welcome.

BTW guys, sinalbahe yata yung left side mirror ko...parang tinulak ng malakas papunta sa harap..umangat/mukang may nabali sa mechanism..yung mga ball bearings nawala sa pwesto..its the motorized type..i took the car at isuzu pasig..they said they cannot/or dont repair those types problems and that the replacement wud cost around 13k! Jesus! unbelievable!

now the problem is i dont think i can afford that..the motor controlling the mirror itself is still working properly...meron ba kayong alam gumagawa nito o merong nabibiling medyo mas resonable ang presyo kasama installation?

naisip ko nga i-epoxy ko nalang... yun nga lang di na matitiklop.

pls pardon me...bat merong mga taong wala talagang magawang mabuti.. :mad: yung revo ng kapitbahay namin inihian sa rear door at ginasgasan pa..we park on the same lot.

you mean that white stuff is the only thing thats holding the mirror? what is the best tool in removing it? can i use a knife or a screw driver? pwede kaya initin to remove it more easily? i think thats the most tricky part eh.

it happen also on my unit kaya nabinaklas ko side mirror ko.

white stuff and yun sa edge nung glass parang naka clip all over sa glass. sa akin kasi pinuwersa ko so ang natangal yun holder ng glass saka ko lang na nadiscover na pwede tangalin yun glass first para di mahirapan. kung may kakilala ka sa banawe na sungkit boys ng side mirror baka kaya nila (joke only)

Patulong naman po. Natanggal yung lock nung spring ng side mirror ko. nahuhugot na tuloy yung buong assembly nung side mirror from pivot. Di ko mabuksan yung photos kung paano kalasin.

...oo nga..ingat ka dude... ako sinubok ko din kalasin side mirror ko dahil natanggal yung malaking spring, ayun, nabasag tuloy yung glass habang tinatanggal at nung binabalik ko na sya. ang $$mahal$$ pa naman ng lintek na sidemirror na yan!

bwahahaha!..kala ko ako lang nakabasag..kala ko nga matatangal ko ng maayos biglang tick! basag! am not sure but i guess the error i made was that i underestimated the strenght of that white stuff..di sya pwedeng biglain..dapat yata meron kang manipis and flexible na knife pang slice dun to remove its hold dun sa likod ng mirror...much like yung ginagamit sa buko ng nyog..still i cud be wrong.

pero ok lang alam ko na kasi na malaking porsyento na mababasag ko..bukod sa explicit warnings ni x-wind i also read between the lines.

pero naayos ko yung spring..ginamitan ko lang ng open wrench na tamang laki patulong ako sa bayaw ko na hawakan..i hit it as hard as i cud ... alam ko mag re-recoil yung spring kung di malakas..gumakat naman tapos pinukpok ko uli hangang sigurado na akong seated na yung lock properly.

yup, nilagyan ko ng grasa yung BB..ginamitan ko rin ng steel spoxy to fill yung kinain na uka ng BB nung mapwersa sya.

mga tanong:

1. saan ako makakabili ng replacement mirror and that white sticky stuff? how much?
2. naputol ko yung one of the two "flathead fasteners" (ano bang tamang tawag duon?) yung naka expose yung ulo sa forward area ng door siding..san ako makakakuha ng replacement nyan.

welcome to da club nerbyoso :D, ganun din experience ko... isang inosenteng *tick*... ayun basag na yung glass. yung white sticky stuff, parang white sealant na ginagamit sa mga transparent na salamin sa window panels. meron nabibili nun sa Ace hardware, yung naka-tube, merong conical nozzle. Kelangan mo din yung sealant gun to squeeze it out. Pwede din yung nasa parang tube ng toothpaste, mamili ka na lang dun. Pero kung ako sa yo' ipunin mo na lang yung dating glue. Pwede pa yun.

as of now... casa lang talaga, pero P13thou yung buong assembly and they won't sell the glass mirror only! buset na casa.

yung flathead screw, subukan mo magtanong sa mga automotive shops. dalhin mo lang yung orig na bolt/screw para matched yung threading ng screw.

nope its not actually a screw eh..yun bang plastic na sinusuot dun sa mga butas para dumikit yung sidings...dalawa lang kasi duon sa pinto yung visible the rest nakatago..yung isa sa mga visible ang naputol eh..grey rin ang color nya to match the plastic siding.

my bro-in-law mentioned about a place called kapalangan..boundery daw yun ng bulacan and nueva ecija..baka daw meron dun mirror...meron na ba nakapunta dito...problem is i heard stories about this place.

ah..yun pala. may nakita akong sa Concord auto shop, meron sila nyan. ang problema, di ko maalala kung anong branch ng Concord ko nakita kung SM Mega, SM City West Ave or SM fairview hehehe...lahat kasi yun may branch ng Concord. basta one of those 3 branches have it. or you can try asking sa mga auto supplies shops.


on the side mirror replacement... balitaan mo din ako pag may nakita. ;)
