just new in this forum thanks to my friend who introduce me to bumped this site. which i know you guys can help me out to decide about this new Isuzu Sportivo (Manual) im planning to buy this june, so any comments on this one? more thanks!

I have an XUVi myself since 2003. Of course, the SPORTIVO is better since it goes with bucket seats already, AV jack with inverter, front facing 3rd row seat to name a few.

Moreover, the ENGINE! I got mine mainly for that reason.... the ENGINE.

You can't go wrong with it.... GO FOR IT!

sana maglabas ang isuzu ng SPORTIVO with the new i-TEQ engine (kahit 2.5L or 3.0L displacement) para maging Euro-3 compliant na!

The Sportivo is an AUV, therefore you should compare it with similar AUVs like the Toyota REVO, and the Mitsubishi Adventure Grand Sport - both of which are now phased out. So it would seem you really don't have much choices left in the AUV market.

But then, if both its competitors are still in production, the Sportivo is still a good buy. It is roomier than the Adventure Grand Sport and the diesel engine kicks ass. You can also save a lot of fuel per kilometer on this high-end Crosswind. The steering is a little heavier compared to Toyota Revo, but you'll live with that. And the 3rd row seat in the Sportivo is a little more comfortable compared to the Adventure Grand Sport, so its a plus.

One thing i did not like about Sportivo is its default black leather upholstery. It gives you a Darth Vader look-and-feel. I would have wanted it to be more family-oriented color like beige or light gray. But i think Isuzu can change the leather colors for you at an additional cost.

In summary, the Sportivo is a fine wheels to buy. My opinion, of course.

*Benzmizer - sir how about the Egine, ok ba? i mean kasi they say that the engine of isuzu are noisy and malakas ang vibration.lastaly about the maintainance kasi diba diesel dumi ng usok.

but then again i guess they slowly fixin the issues about that engine cons. like this 2005 model, i hope na hindi ganun ka noisy and kalakas ang vibrate ng engine.

yung isuzu crosswind 2007 may mga ganito pa rin bang problema sa muffler na napuputol at yung problema sa clutch?

Supposedly, wala na yung muffler problem. Iba na yata yung exhaust design.

As for the clutch... typical naman yun sa driving namin... all traffic... that 110,000 kilometers was something like 80% traffic. Our first clutch was replaced at 40k kms (we suspect the driver was clutch-driving it), but the new one has lasted 70k kms and is still good.

maraming salamat,sure na kaya na wala ng muffler problem ang crosswind 2007,sana nga kasi yan talaga gusto kung bilhin,hindi ba ako magsisi kung sakali,oo nga pala tungkol naman doon sa mabilis magkaroon ng kalawang na resolve na rin kaya?

siguro yung sa clutch hindi ako magkakroon ng problema kasi gusto sana matic,para ok sa long driving,wala na bang ibang problema sa crosswind kung sakali model 2007 na?

guys hingi lang sana ako advise from you...Has anyone of you there had an experience of converting the jam seat into a third row sit facing front of an XUV? Im Planning kasi to convert my XUV into a third row option just like the sportivo. Lahat kasing XUV comes with a jam sit option only. Do you think this is good thing to do to my XUV? is it a good decision? Hindi ko naman kasi kailangan masyado madaming kargamento...If ever i will convert it, may pagkakaiba ba sa leg room ng original third row sit sportivo and yong kinonvert lang? I already ask sa [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]dealer[/COLOR][/COLOR] ko, and they were charging us 13k for converting it.

hi sir yung sa sportivo namin pinapalitan kasi mahirap daw pagsasakay pass. kelangan pa itupi so my dad decided na papalitan sabi sa casa 16k luckily may isang owner na pumayag makipagtrade ayun

Last week galing ako cruven angeles city to restore may rear shock ok naman tumigas nga lang 2K ang charge for 2 shocks. den pina check and estimate ko yun sa front naman dahil minsan nalubak ako at narinig ko nag wiggle yun front wheel driver side kala ko may nasira. sum up ng estimate is around 7K+ for repair. medyo malaki kaya di ko muna pinagalaw.

di ako mapalagay, the next week pumunta naman ako ng servitek para pa check ko din yun sa front nilagay sa lifter, inalog alog mga link at check kung ano pa nag test drive and sinalang sa computer wheel alignment.
ayos naman alignment at wala naman daw na damage. charge me PHP250 for check up and gamit nun wheel alignment machine.

crosswind SOUND LIKE AN ELF! DRIVE LIKE A TRUCK!

My cousin has an XUV. He says the engine is great and responsive (doesnt vibrate that much daw), both front seat heard support are equipped with LCD monitors, seats are in black leather. only drawback is that because its an AUV, rear suspension is leaf springs. matagtag daw.
In my opinion, for a very small price difference, I would go for the innova too, you will get the same engine performance with a more comfortable ride.

Innova.... Good buy and u won't regret it. Test drive the 2 and you can feel the difference.
