Isuzu 4ja1 - startup idle issue

fellow tsikoteers.My hilander has this issue everytime pag cold start. u have to press the gas pedal para magtuloy ang start, if not mamamatay engine. pag nagstart na sya ng mga 2mins ok na dahil i can run sa slex ng mga 120km/hr wd no problem . i already did several troubleshooting:

idle is at 750-800rpm - so its not too low
injection pump was overhauled at betan calibration just last month
fuel filter was recently changed

i was reading through several posts and it seems that 4ja1 have no glowplugs, yun lang naiisip ko cause ng hirap pag cold start. pero may nabasa rin ako na may isang glow plug daw sa may injection pump yung ibang direct injection engines na walang standard glow plugs.

id appreciate some inputs from fellow tsikoteers and isuzu peeps.

sir one click lang start na, problem is pag nag start na idle nya is aangat ng mga 600rpm then bababa na until mamatay unless tapakan mo gas pedal. so ganun ginagawa ko mejo apak muna gas pedal ng mga 1 minute para uminit, after nun no problemo na. pag uminit na normal na idle nya at 750-800rpm. i've been doin some research and wala naman daw glow plugs ang hilander, so ano po nag tataas ng idle sa cold start? may temp sensor kaya sya? mileage is 91,000km.

Let me do research on your engine then balitaan kita.

seals are new dahil pinanood ko nung binuksan yung overhaul kit na may rubber seals at pinalit nila. napansin ko kaninang umaga na kahit na tatapakan ko yung gas pagkastart e after 1-2 seconds bababa rpm nya ng mga 200-250rpm then mag steady na dahil nakatapak ako sa pedal.

di ko kasi alam ano nagcocontrol ng idle pag cold start since wala sya glow plugs. meron ba dapat linisin na idle up valve/controller? or temperature sensor ang 4ja1 na mkkdtct na malamig pa makina para taasan idle? how about yung throttle san ba yun lilinisin?

May idle controller yan. Puwede mong taasan muna idle at start, then ibaba mo na lang after mag-init. Im also from taguig c5 and may repair manual ako ng 4jA1.

sir umaga, ask ko lang po sana kung sana kayo sa laguna?
malaki na din po kasi nauubos ko sa xtrm 2001 ko , mula ng mabili ko last may 19, until now pabalik balik po kasi sa mekaniko, sa bulacan ko pa po dinadala.
wala po kasi ako kilala na mekaniko dito sa laguna.

Guys having idle problem in the morning...... do you still have the problem? I had that problem also with my trooper and yung bayaw ko ang naka solve, pinag tsagaan lahat ng possible sira. He was able to detect the problem dun sa cylinder where you pump pag nauubusan ng diesel. The seal has leak kaya pumapasok ang hangin. I hope this help..... just sharing
