The Trooper 2002 is not yet a Skyroof unit (I believe was introduced 2003-04). Than this, performance & amenities should be the same. I don't know what your basis of saying that the Trooper you're looking at is "maayos naman pagaalaga"... Was this based on maintenance record or just looks?

It is critical that prior to purchasing a vehicle (particularly the Trooper), maintenance record is complete. The Trooper requires a special grade of engine oil (BESCO). I would also recommend that you have a trusted technician to check the unit prior to making a decision
